Profiles in Troofrage

This guy was in that "Troofer gets the girl at the end" video that I posted about a week back. Here's the girl:

Kinda dull, but I thought I'd post them. The tag line, "My name is XXX and I'm a Troofer" sounds like some ad campaign that is slipping my mind. American Express? Something like that.

  1. "My name is XXX and I'm a Troofer" sounds more like the way you introduce yourself at an AA meeting. Do they have meetings for recovering Truthers?

  2. Well, at least they will not be breeding; no 'inside jobs' allowed!

  3. Ah, sorry 'bout that...

Actually, I do wonder if the 12 step process is used for conspiracy theorists who wish to reform their behavior.

Maybe someday Jon Gold will show up here to make amends.

  5. What the hell does Splinter from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have to di with 9/11 or media "Mind Control"? For that matter what does Dumbledor have to do with anything?

I also love the elitist mind set, the masses have been brainwashed blah, blah,blah...It is kind hard to convince people with your argument when you insult them first.

  7. Marc,
some people (very special people) think that the CIA uses familiar images like those from cartoons or movies to manipulate mind control victims.
Obviously this is batshit insane, but it's all the rage among David Icke's followers.

  8. BREAKING NEWS! LA nightclubs are frequented by brainless shallow morons! I never would have suspected it in a million years.
This smug asshole is trying to say that all Americans are as dumb as these bitches. Obviously we're all dumb because "The Elites" dumb us down on purpose, with fluoride and vaccines!
I'm certain at this point that the biggest motivation for conspiretards is the feeling of validation knowing that they are in on some giant secret while the ignorant sheeple are clueless.

  9. What happened on 9/11 was 'false'? So those buildings are still there? Huh, I did not know that. That's really opened my eyes. Now I'm going to grow my hair long, grow a beard, drop out, smoke a lot of weed, and waste my life hanging around on street corners with placards making preposterous claims. That'll wake them up.

"LA nightclubs are frequented by brainless shallow morons! I never would have suspected it in a million years."

Nah, these idiots can't afford LA nightclubs. Maybe the chick, if gentlemen feel compelled to buy her $15 drinks. Doubt it though - she seems like a downer.

  11. Do they have meetings for recovering truthers? Actually, once people are awakened to 9/11 truth, they rarely go back. The only one I can think of who recanted was Craig Furlong, and I kind of doubt he was a real truther to begin with.

  12. Truthers don't tolerate apostasy! Listen to that shit. "He wasn't a real truther to begin with!" Maybe the truthers in the public eye don't recant, as they'd forfeit all the attention they get, but I have more than a few anecdotes of truthers rediscovering rational inquiry. I'm pretty sure you can find a few blogs in the links section written by former truthers as well. I imagine it's dangerous to leave a truther gaggle, as most cults stalk and harass ex-members.
...awakened to 9-11, give me a break you smug assholes.

  13. Actually, once people are awakened to 9/11 truth, they rarely go back.

Of course not. It's a religious cult and it attracts the kind of losers who are looking for meaning that would join a cult. Kind of like you, Brian.

The only one I can think of who recanted was Craig Furlong, and I kind of doubt he was a real truther to begin with.

Of course he wasn't a real "truther". He was capable of rational thought.

  17. I suspect that Craig Furlong's religious fundamentalism was the center of his life and his epistemology. I suspect that God told him William Rodriguez was some kind of angel of truth, so Craig cobbled together a bogus analysis of the seismographic evidence that he claimed proved there were basement bombs before the planes hit.

Yes, as opposed to the quest for rational inquiry that motivates most Truthers...
    CRIPPLED EPISTEMOLOGY

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anon, the claim that truthers believe what they do because they have a crippled epistemology because they only consult truther-approved information is a case of projection from someone who only fails to evaluate officially-approved sources of information critically.

Many truthers do have crippled epistemology -- anyone who believes the CIT-heads, for instance, or who believes William Rodriguez's impossible carnival show.

But there are some critical thinkers at blogs like truthmove and truthaction who are IMHO wading through the swampy minefield of truth pretty effectively and credibly.

NY, are you for the rest of your days going to be crying out "Brian! Brian, is that you?" at every bump in the night? You're obsessed, man.

False. "Truthers" are either insane, hopelessly ignorant, or conscious frauds. You qualify as the first two.

Many truthers do have crippled epistemology -- anyone who believes the CIT-heads, for instance, or who believes William Rodriguez's impossible carnival show.

Or those who believe the towers fell "essentially in free-fall", or who believe Richard Gage, or who believe thermite was used, and so on....

But there are some critical thinkers at blogs like truthmove and truthaction who are IMHO wading through the swampy minefield of truth pretty effectively and credibly.

    False.

NY, are you for the rest of your days going to be crying out "Brian! Brian, is that you?" at every bump in the night? You're obsessed, man.

No, I just laugh at your hopeless insanity. Have you heard from any of the thousands of professors you've e-mailed yet?

    ReplyDelete
  22. You're obsessed, man.

I've got to comment on this one more time. Brian, you've been posting your insane gibberish here for almost a year, and guess what? You've accomplished absolutely nothing. There's no new investigation planned. None of the thousands (!!!) of professors you've written have written you back. Your hilarious "rake-on-rake" model has not been published in a journal of structural engineering.

And then there's your deranged stalking of Kevin Barrett, Willie Rodriguez, and Carol Brouillet, which is supposed to accomplish...what?

You're the obsessed one who has accomplished absolutely nothing and will accomplish absolutely nothing. I'm just here laughing at you for this. And considering how easy it is to get you to post even more enraged gibberish, I do it. My conscience tells me its wrong sometimes, but then I remind myself of how evil the "truth" movement is.

So continue to post your insanity, Brian. I will be here to laugh at you. I mean, the "truth" movement is dead so it's not like anyone else is going to post "truth" nonsense here.

  26. Well, I officially feel a little guilty for making fun of him now.

I would if it weren't for the fact that he's a vicious misogynist who has been known to stalk at least one woman, and that he thinks he's a misunderstood genius (and condescends to anyone who questions him), when he's really a mentally ill dunce.

The DU post is an example of the latter. He rages at the sheep on DU who have the gall to laugh at his scribbles and not recognize them as works of a scientific genius.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ha! Guilt assuaged... I've found the "misunderstood genius" trait common among conspiracy folks, part of the superiority complex that's all too common among them.
"Why are these sheeple so stupid as to not see what is so obvious to me!!!"

  28. Funny how the anonymous that NY,er insists is Brian Good keeps cleaning his clock and all NY,er can come back with is a blizzard of bullshit.Even the Debunker Cult cringes when yet another long winded left jab from NY,er comes by.

  30. Krazee sure is an interesting one. His MO is to babble on about how [insert truther here] has used his superior logic to defeat [insert debunker here] even when it's plainly obvious to sane observers that nothing of the sort has taken place. He then ends with "OOOHBOYO THE DEBUNKER CULT IS HOPELESSLY LOST!!!"
    It's very strange indeed.
