Uncle Fetzer Signs On With Holocaust Deniers?

Note the question mark at the end there. Fetzer's name is included as among the signers of a letter posted at Indy Media protesting the proposed deportation from England of Dr Fredrick Tobin, an Austrian Holocaust denier, to Germany to face charges over his nuttery.

Now you know how it is; I personally don't think kooks should face charges over their fruitcake theories. But the letter goes well beyond that, praising Tobin and other no-Holocaust nutjobs. Consider this part:

Rev. Ted Pike, a major American pro-First Amendment activist, states in “Toben Grabbed: International Hate Laws Bite Down”1 that “Every American, especially Christians, should protest this outrageous attack on freedom of speech. Although most Americans do not think like Dr. Toben, his arrest is just a taste of what will come—for Americans like you and your family—if we do not defend freedom now.”

Reverend Ted Pike? Yeah, he's a major American pro-First Amendment activist. He's also an anti-Semitic nutjob. I won't link his site, but among the useful bits of information he provides are these nuggets:

23 Oct 08 - Pedophilia: Thriving in Judaism's Right
ACLU Top Heavy with Jews
The Jews Behind Da Vinci Code

Note that he's not even hiding behind the usual "I'm talking about Zionists, not Jews" formulation that most anti-Semites use.

The letter also touts Toben's support for Captain Eric May's particular brand of lunacy:

Dr. Toben is a free thinker who has fearlessly explored other important issues besides Holocaust revisionism. He ran one of the first web sites to archive works by Capt. Eric May that exposed 9/11 as a likely CIA-Mossad inside job. May also suggested that petro-chemical explosions in the greater Houston area could be part of a dress rehearsal pattern for a repeated “9/11” terror event designed to justify war against Iran and domestic martial law.

May is crazy even by the standards of the Troofers; check out this bit of his numerology:

"A Beautiful Mind" was filmed before 911, in early 2001, but it was released after 911 - did the Hollywood Jews who made the movie know about 911 in advance, then brainwash us out of figuring it out? Come to think of it, was the whole attack a number game, in which the feds had spent years preparing us to call Big Brother in a national "911 call" in response to a "911 attack?” Is Hollywood part of a psychological operation?

The film was released on a very special date (and we've already seen how well dates can code): December 21st 2001. OK, try the number-code tricks I taught you above (see link, ed) and find the numeric sequence 12/21/21! The "Jewish" number 12, then 12 reversed - twice! It's all 12 permutations! Well, it's plenty tricky, but this has been a tricky infowar - at least to those of us (like Ghost Troop) with beautiful minds!

Or this:

Ninth paragraph:

"Since Nov. 1, wildfires have consumed more than 380,000 acres, destroyed 220 homes and businesses and killed two people."

This decodes to 111, then 11, then 22, then 2. Connect 22 with 2 and get 222; then reduce the 222 to 111. Now connect the date 111 with the acres 11 with the (modified) destroyed homes/people 111 to get 11111111.

11111111!

More from the letter:

The latest news on Dr. Toben’s case can be found at Lady Michele Renouf’s web site. Another hearing will likely be held Nov. 11. This gives us additional time to mobilize global protest against this international outrage.

Lady Michele Renouf? Yep, yet another Holocaust Denier:

Renouf has become increasingly known in recent years for her support of prominent Holocaust deniers. Her interest in World War II and the Holocaust began in 2000, when she read a newspaper article on David Irving's libel case against historian Deborah Lipstadt. She attended the hearing and became impressed with Irving's case, saying "I found on Irving's side of the courtroom a solitary person representing himself, backed up by enormous forensic research and tremendously capable debate based on substance and fact... On the other side of the courtroom I saw 21-25 people with laptops connected it seems to the Israeli government."

Scholar Schism Make-up?

I got this from an e-mail group, forwarded from Kevin "hang 'em high" Barrett. Apparently Steven Jones and Jim Fetzer, who had a rather public falling out which led them to split their "Scholars" group, are kissing and making up:

Jim Fetzer writes: "I have tremendous admiration for Steve's recent paper 'Fourteen Points of Agreement with Official Government Reports on the World Trade Center Destruction,' co-authored by Frank M. Legge, Kevin R. Ryan, Anthony F. Szamboti, and James R. Gourley: http://www.911blogger.com/node/15081 I think it is brilliant the way the authors made their points by 'agreeing' with NIST and FEMA. While I remain convinced that conventional explosives alone cannot account for the nature and extent of the damage to the World Trade Center, I also welcome Steve's ongoing research on thermite and thermate residues. Thermate and thermite may well have contributed to the destruction of the Twin Towers and even been used to bring down WTC-7. I have invited Steve to return to my show for another interview, assuring him that I will let Steve get in a word or two now and then. I would like to do whatever I can to acquire a united front for 9/11 research, including urging us to support those rarest of animals, 9/11 truth candidates who are running for office. Someone like Kevin could make a huge difference."

9/11 truth guru David Ray Griffin even chimes in, endorsing the work of Fetzer, and paranoid anti-semitic numerologist and former Army Reserve officer Eric May:

Here is David Ray Griffin's take, written in response to someone who had harshly criticized Jim Fetzer:

"Jim Fetzer has done a lot of good work and did much to build up the scholarly component of the 9/11 truth movement. "It is true that I ultimately dropped out of his organization (Scholars for 9/11 Truth) and instead, along with many others, joined Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice, which is associated with Steven Jones. But my leaving involved issues of style rather than substantive matters (although it's also true that Jim had used his position as head of Scholars inappropriately, I thought, to promote some controversial theories, rather than remaining publicly neutral while allowing Scholars to be a place where these theories could be debated in a scholarly manner; but these are matters of judgment, on which sincere people can
disagree).

"Part of the good work Jim has done is the article he co-authored with Captain May and two other military men."

Super Bowl Attack Imminent

Crazy Jim Fetzer writes another one of those press releases about himself. This one is beyond bizarre:

An analysis now making its way across the internet is being attributed to Sio Bibble, who concludes, “A communications disruption can mean only one thing—invasion.” On his scenario, American military radio chatter during the game could provide cover for other communications taking place. “03:00 and the troops are up, file into the mess to get a cup of coffee, sandwich and watch the game,” Bibble writes. “Meanwhile, an Israeli sub in the Gulf goes to Battle Station alert. The game starts, the troops go wild, they get pumped with adrenalin and into combative psychic. 10 minutes into the game, a micro-nuke goes off in the stadium. The aforementioned sub commander gets the signal and launches his surface to surface missiles at various Iranian sites and several American ships.”

“The sailors on the ships are stunned by what they see on the TV screen,” he continues, “then the Claxton horn goes off as American ships start taking hits. The ships go live, the Iranians go live. American sources declare a surprise Iranian attack as three American ships sink in the Gulf. The smoldering Super Bowl is blamed on Iran, Mom and Apple Pie need to be defended.” According to Fetzer, no matter how fantastic this might sound to those who have never studied 9/11, it is an appealing alternative for an administration that has run out of options and whose leader is widely regarded by the American public as the worst president in history. It could reverse his standing at a single masterstroke.

Hey, how can you not trust someone named Sio Bibble? And what is with their fascination with micro-nukes? Can't anyone just use a plain old nuke anymore?

Barrett and Fetzer even have some rather kind words for Eric May, a new development in the troofer alliances.

Fetzer has featured Captain May as his guest on “The Dynamic Duo” several times and takes his analyses seriously. “I wish I could tell you that he’s wrong, but the evidence we have discovered about 9/11 suggests that this administration has no scruples when it comes to sacrificing innocent lives to advance its political agenda.” This is not the first time that students of 9/11 have suspected a reprise might be in the works, probably one involving the use of nuclear weapons. On August 26, 2007, Webster Griffin Tarpley issued ‘The Kennebunkport Warning’ that there were signs the administration planned to conduct another ‘false flag’ operation and suspend the Constitution. Captain May has previously sounded alarms about a possible attack near Portland, Oregon, late last year. An attack on the Super Bowl and retaliation against Iran would dwarf these attempts.

Barrett, who has closely followed May’s research, also believes that these signs have to be taken seriously. “In the Texas City, Texas, case, even the mainstream media reported indications that strange events were in the works, including unmarked black trucks and sport utility vehicles bearing government license plates near crews setting up what appeared to be satellite or radar gear on the beach, and the crews were wearing shirts that said, ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team.’ We may have been very lucky that Captain May sounded the alarm,” Barrett said. “My impression is that Eric May is one of the bravest and most eloquent intelligence analysts in the United States today. It is regrettable his state of health has deteriorated to the point that we are not going to be able to count on his research much longer.” Barrett, like Fetzer, takes the extreme improbability of multiple cable cuts as a sign that something serious is afoot.

The Kooks Who Are Too Kooky for the Kooks

First up, the CIT nutbars:

I know I can't wait for February to arrive, to see yet more evidence of "North of the Citgo."

On deck is numerologist and fruitcake, Captain Eric May:

"If we don't find our way back to the Constitution soon we are in real real trouble. With that being said, we are facing things our founding fathers could have never ever imagined. Even 7/27 I don't think they could have imagined at the time." -- Glenn Beck to Ron Paul

Note in the paragraph above that Beck used the date "7/27" in a place where he probably meant to say "9/11." At the time he was turning the interview to the topic of Paul's non-interventionist foreign policy and trying to rationalize post-9/11 US interventionism. So what on earth is the significance of 7/27, and what did it have to do with 9/11? I invite the objective reader to think long and hard about that question -- then to admit that no good answer comes to mind.

Yes, I admit it. Unless of course, Beck meant 7/7, the date of the attacks on the London Tubes. But of course, Captain May is talking about 7/27/05, when his diligent warnings prevented a nuclear attack on Houston. Seriously.

It's COINTELPRO!!

ln a sidenote to the troofer wars we have been discussing between the Webster Tarpley led Kennebunkport Warning group, and... well... just about everyone else as far as I can tell, old Web is now putting out warnings of government counter intelligence campaigns against them. Now just our government, apparently all of them!

It has come to our attention that certain scurrilous, obscene, abusive, harassing, and threatening emails, blog postings, and videos are being fabricated, circulated, sent, and posted on the internet by anonymous provocateurs who are evidently working for the pro-Cheney factions of the US intelligence community. An effort is being made in some quarters to falsely attribute these faked and counterfeit postings, emails, and videos to Webster G. Tarpley, Bruce Marshall, Captain Eric May, and to other persons sympathetic to the Philadelphia Platform and/or the Kennebunkport Warning. Any such attempted attribution is a lie. Actindependent.org and its supporters, including but not limited to the persons named, have no responsibility for these items, and repudiate and condemn them in every way. The internet items in question represent the dirty tricks, provocations, and poison pen sabotage and disruption tactics associated with a world-wide chaos and confusion campaign of cointelpro orchestrated by the Cheney faction as we approach a possible US attack on Iran, Syria and other countries. Anyone who gives credence to these counterfeit items or is responsible for spreading or publicizing them is either a conscious stooge for Cheney, or else is stupidly playing into the hands of the Cheney war faction at a most critical time.

The goal of this crude campaign of low-grade internet fakes, forgeries, and slanders is to sow dissension, fear, conflict, and hysteria so as to prevent the emergence of a unified mass resistance to the Cheney war party and its Democratic Party backers. Actindependent.org is in the process of tracking down and analyzing a global pattern of coordinated cointelpro deployments in Australia, Canada, Austria, and Germany, in addition to the United States. Actindependent.org calls on all anti-war, impeachment, anti-globalization, 9/11 truth, civil liberties, honest vote count, labor, civil rights, ethnic minority, and other groups and persons of good will everywhere to help identify, denounce, expose, and isolate the anonymous provocateurs who are behind this campaign of falsification and harassment.

Yeah, I am sure Webster Tarpley is so important he has an entire department at Langley dedicated to him, much less at the Austrian intelligence service (does Austria even have one?). I have just one question though, what could you possibly do to make Eric May look any more insane than he already does?

The Continuing Disintegration of Webster Tarpley

It's actually quite amusing to watch him surround himself with thorough nutters like Captain Eric (Jews run Hollywood) May, and Morgan Stack, and think that this is somehow improving his position. They're trying to figure out who Jenny Sparks is (jeez, Web, you should read Screw Loose Change, or Nico's bloglines), and fruitcake May claims she must be part of some disinfo cell.

Hat Tip: Nico's bloglines.

Pay Attention to Me!

As I have written before, much of the motivation for conspiracy theorists is ego. They are the people with the truth, the answers that nobody else can see. As such, they whine like little children when people won't pay attention to their Messianic wisdom. In a follow-up to the recent (non-existent) Portland nuke scare, by Captain Eric May (he is no longer in, but he keeps on using the title like he is):

Oregonian reporter Joseph Rose contacted me (nearly two weeks after he said he would) for two half-hour interviews. It was apparent that he was trying to gather quotes outlandish enough to justify a hostile article against me for my coverage of Noble Resolve. Not having his facts together -- and frustrated that I did -- he firmly and finally announced that I was an unworthy source and unscrupulous reporter. Considering the source, I was honored, and pleased to have published a short article on his and his paper's ineptitude: "Noble Resolve (Helping The Oregonian Catch Up)" http://www.oregontruthalliance.org/

The Oregonian wasn't alone in the practice of presstitution, though. Portland's ABC, NBC and CBS affiliates kept mum about Noble Resolve for the weeks that viewers were calling their newsrooms asking for details about the growing and disturbing Internet story. In a splendid display of chutzpah, ABC's KATU-2 aired a story Thursday ridiculing the fears of the public they had failed to inform with "Conspiracy theorists claim ONG drill is prelude to Portland attack" http://www.katu.com/news/local/9334236.html

Sorry dude, but there is a guy on 3rd street who keeps on screaming that the world is going to end too, that doesn't mean they have to throw him on the front page of the Oregonian

Nuke Portland!

A man who claims to be a former Army intelligence officer called Captain Eric May claims that the city of Portland, Oregon might be blown up by a nuclear weapon under the disguise of a publicly announced emergency response exercise. Like the famous Pentagon MASCAL example, he fails to notice the fact that responding to an event is not the same as carrying it out, it involves completely different skills. This would actually be a tragedy, as I have been meaning to visit Powell's.

Kevin "Stalker" Barrett interviews him on one of his paranoid nutjob radio shows (Barrett himself is confused as to which one). May is one of those who believes that every terrorist attack is the work of the US goverment, and that Al Qaeda consists entirely of government operatives. Amazingly, they seem to have convinced much of the Muslim world of the exact opposite. He never explains how they do that.

What people like him and Alex Jones rely on, is the fact that they make so many predictions, that one of them is bound to come true, by sheer chance. As I have said so many times before, there is no falsifiability. In fact May specifically states that if any of his predictions don't come true, it is because he was responsible for stopping it. He can't be wrong!

Barrett adds to this insanity by saying that he calls up the public relations people for NORAD, and other government agencies, and tells whoever picks up the phone not to carry out fake terror attacks, which he claims is actually an effective tactic. I am not kidding, I couldn't make up this stuff if I tried.
