16 Minutes and Counting

Harold Saive, having achieved his Andy Warhol moment, tries to stretch it out by reporting to the Gainesville City Council his amazing success in getting the FBI to murmur sweet nothings about Richard Gage.

"We've had a break in the case! The FBI is now cooperating with us!"

Now of course a sane person might say that if the FBI is cooperating with Harold, why does he need to inform the Gainesville City Council of that fact?

The answer is that this has nothing to do with 9-11 and everything to do with Harold Saive. Saive is a gadfly; one of those cranks who pop up in every town in America. I am sure that the city council members have been enduring Saive's nuttery on every topic under the sun, since well before 9-11. Here's his chance to show the council that he's a very serious person, because the FBI wrote back to him and talked about the "thorough research and analysis" of Box Boy's presentation.

You Like Us, You Really Like Us!

A particularly demented Troofer from Florida named Harold Saive sent a letter to the FBI suggesting that they look into the work of Richard Gage and his clown posse. The FBI wrote back a basic form letter, saying that they appreciated every tip offered by citizens. But this part got the nutbars in a tizzy:

Mr. Gage presents an interesting theory, backed by thorough research and analysis.

Now I might quibble about the thoroughness of Gage's research and the existence of any analysis, but he's throwing the guy a bone while basically blowing him off. Has the head of NIST been arrested by the FBI for their involvement in the coverup? Nope. Has the FBI contacted Gage to request his expertise in steel-framed gymnasiums? Not so far as I've heard.

Who is Harold Saive? Here's a photo of him:

I'm going to guess that it wouldn't be hard to find evidence that Saive is a far-left loony; as I have discussed many times, the older Troofers are almost all leftists while the younger ones tend to be libertarians.

He's on the waiting list for a Gainesville (FL) meetup group for the Democratic Party.

According to the Huffington Post, Saive donated $429 to the campaign of Barack Obama, while in 2004 he donated $300 to Howard Dean. So he's one of the Troofers who will be having trouble explaining to his buddies why Obama hasn't exposed the inside job.

He's also a chemtrails fruitloop, which just goes to prove that if you're stupid enough to fall for one conspiracy theory, you're probably going to fall for another.
