What a Bunch of Whiners

Alex Jones is all in a tizzy over some things radio host Michael Reagan said about the idiot formerly known as John Conner:

Excuse me folks, I’m going to say this. We ought to find the people who are doing this, take them out and shoot them. Really. You take them out, they are traitors to this country, and shoot them. You have a problem with that? Deal with it. You shoot them. You call them traitors, that’s what they are, and you shoot them dead. I’ll pay for the bullets.

Dice and Jones are threatening to sue, demanding he be arrested, and is trying to get people to urge the FCC to take action. Geez, you would think someone who names himself after a character in the movie "The Terminator" would toughen up a little. Now I don't think Reagan should have said this, if only because it gives the whack jobs even more publicity, but I don't recall them having conniptions when Kevin Barrett called for the execution of thousands of members of the mainstream media for treason, on numerous occasions.

Last year Mark Dice, the idiot formerly known as John Conner, called it quits from the 9/11 truth movement. Well, apparently the Jaywalker for 9/11 Truth is back, with another crusade:

A Christian group based in San Diego found grounds for outrage over the new retro-style logo for Starbucks Coffee.

The Resistance says the new image "has a naked woman on it with her legs spread like a prostitute," Mark Dice, founder of the group, said in a news release. "Need I say more? It's extremely poor taste, and the company might as well call themselves Slutbucks."

The group, which claims more than 3,000 members nationwide and has found a place on the fringe advancing various conspiracy theories, is calling for a national boycott of the coffee-selling giant.

Now as both a Seattlite and a heterosexual male, I am highly offended by this.

Mark Dice Calls it Quits

I almost came to tears reading this sob story over at the Loose Change Forum about how Mark Dice, the idiot formerly known as John Conner, is quiting his Internet radio show:

With google video being so popular, many people just watch videos for free and never buy the DVDs and support the film makers, and it seems people are even more reluctant to buy books. I'm almost out of copies of The Resistance Manifesto and have NO MONEY to print the new run. It’s going to cost about $7 thousand dollars. That and my laptop, which is the only computer I have, is almost burnt. The screen flickers to black all the time, and I fear it may just not come back on. The thing crashes almost every day too. I have a ChipIn box on MarkDice.com if you want to donate to help me get a new one.

I'm making about HALF the money at my day job than I did last year because business sucks and the economy is crap. I work in sales management. If I have to get a new job, I won't have all day to research and make videos since I will be forced to become a corporate slave so I don't start bouncing my rent check which I almost did last month.

I'm very disappointed in the movement, not only for not supporting my work, but for not fighting for the cause. I showed everyone how easy it was to jam radio talk shows like Hannity and O'Reilly. I should be hearing a half a dozen calls every day about the Illuminati and 9/11, yet I hear none. I have stopped listening to these clowns in hopes of hearing a caller slam them on the issues, because it doesn’t happen.

Fetzer Gets In Some Decent Points

James pointed the other day to this hilarious argument between Mark Dice and Jim Fetzer. As others have mentioned, the part where Jim discusses Dice's nutty "Resistance for Christ" group and their belief in "Luciferians" is quite amusing. But the part that I found interesting was the bit where Uncle Fetzer claimed that Jim Hoffman and Webster Tarpley had brought up "Directed Energy Weapons". Sure enough, I was able to pull it up from Synthetic Terror (Page 225 of the PDF):

This certainly shows how annoying it is to read Tarpley; he tells us not once, but twice on the same page that the power cord would be rather large. And Tarpley gets into real science fiction territory here (Page 245):



So Fetzer has a valid point; why is Webster Tarpley considered credible in the 9-11 Denial Movement and Judy Wood a kook? Of course, Fetzer's arguing they're both credible, while I would maintain they're both nutbars....

Kudos to Luke Rudkowski and We Are Change

They won Mark (I'm not John Conner anymore now that I'm famous) Dice's $1,000 prize for the video which most shamelessly promotes Conner's site.



I'll give it up to Luke; I think he's one of those 9-11 Deniers who truly believes what he does. I disagree with him obviously but I don't get the feeling he's one of the guys in this for the money and the fame. Yeah, this was effectively whoring out the banner, but they need the money since Les Jamieson has apparently made off with the money that was in the NY 9-11 Denier account.

Mark Dice Vs. Jim Fetzer

I came across this radio interview of Jim "Space Beam" Fetzer by Mark "The idiot formerly known as John Conner" Dice. I have never been so conflicted in my life as to whose side to take. How freaking insane do you have to be when someone who calls himself John Conner and films himself running into traffic screaming about 9/11 truth, comes off as the relatively logical and grounded one?

Update: I was in a bit of a hurry when I typed this originally, but I should point out that this interview is actually rather entertaining. OK, it is a bit Jerry Springer to have two complete nuts hurling accusations back and forth at each other, but if you follow these truthers, it is well worth listening to.
