What Happened to their 84% support?

A few days ago they were complaining on 911 Blogger because a petition calling for the release of records from a Bush Administration security meeting in July 2001, something which isn't even LIHOP, much less indicating that you believe that the Administration actually carried out 9/11 had barely drawn 10,000 signatures since it was started last October

By contrast someone started a Stop Rosie site, yesterday, with a petition feature and it is closing in on 20,000 signatures.

What was that they were saying about having 84% support?

Either Condi Rice is incompetently forgetful or a liar. The 9-11 apologists are willing to overlook some of the most egregious derelictions of duty ever without a second thought. Surely any ordinary taxpayer would hold the National Security Advisor to high standard of excellence. Rice’s credentials include her bachelor's degree in political science, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Denver in 1974; her master's from the University of Notre Dame in 1975; and her Ph.D. from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver in 1981. However, “I cannot recall” is a reasonable excuse for the folks so blinded by their agenda so to overlook her intellectual prowess while bashing the kin of 9-11 victims calling for basic information. A sad commentary.

I didn't know you could be incompetent about forgetting. I'll have to remember that.

The 9-11 apologists

You guys really need to read a dictionary someday. You keep using words whose meanings you don't know.

Any reason why those CIA documents shouldn't be released to the public and for the victims family?

It is actually possible to believe the Bush administration screwed up their pre-9/11 response to al-Qaeda without believing they were in some way complicit in the murder of three thousand people, you know. This assumption that anyone who isn't directly involved in 9/11 Twoof (and - ah! - which branch of 9/11 Twoof, comrade?) must be lock-step with Bush on every single issue is one of the 'debating' points you idiots use which irritates me most.

Any reason why, as a part of a criminal investigation against KSM and OBL that they should be released.

Should the investigative branches of the USG allow public access to all investigative materials on all matters?

That 'Petition' to Stop Rosie is completely bogus -- have you looked at the signatures?

1/2 of them are joke names --
the pro rosie petitions allow e-mail address and comments. Very few joked comments.

Much more legit than 10,000 signatures like Hugh Jazz and Bush Didit.

Online petitions are a waste of time anyway, whatever they're for or against. Seriously, has an online petition ever accomplished anything?

Snopes has a good rant on this subject.
