New Statement on Loose Change v 4.0

Dylan and company have posted a rather angry statement on their "official" blog regarding the theatrical release of their 4th attempt at the truth. They start by attacking all their critics:

Over the last few weeks a number of ‘newsworthy’ individuals and organizations connected with Loose Change and the 9/11 truth movement have been subjected to
campaign of vicious intimidation. The intimidators include presenters on Rupert Murdoch’s Fox, ‘Fair and Balanced’ News, disgraced former US senate majority leader Tom ‘Hot Tub’ Delay, Michele ‘put every Muslim in a concentration camp’ Malkin and Nick ‘Virgin, I promise you PR poison’ Rizutto.

Uhh, Dylan. You need to learn something about free speech. You have the right to say what you want, we have the write to criticize you. Free speech does not mean freedom from criticism, or that others have to distribute your words.

Furthermore, we believe that in attracting the vilification of those who clearly don’t respect the 1st amendment of the US constitution means we have reached a point in our campaign from which there is no turning back.

I completely respect the 1st ammendment. I don't believe the United States Congress should make any laws preventing Loose Change from being shown. Does this mean I cannot point out where these people are lying or petition private individuals to not support them? Hell no.

This part is rather humorous:

The evidence we have collated for the movie has been fact-checked for accuracy by Dr. David Ray Griffin, and our message, that the official story of 9/11 cannot be true, will resonate around the world.

Yeah, because we all know how well Dr. Griffin fact-checks things. This is kind of like making Charlie Sheen a chaperone at a party of drunk college girls.

I nearly lost my lunch over this part though:

Like Rosa Parks, Simon Wiesenthal, Winston Churchill, and Nelson Mandela, we will not veer from our course and we will not shut up.

Winston Churchill? More like Ward Churchill. Geez, could they be more full of themselves? They have a moderately succesful video on Google, and all of a sudden then think they are Andrei Sakharov reborn.

Of course, the true sign of a conspiracy theorist, is to just make a bunch of factually incorrect statements, and then draw false conclusions from it:

We didn’t want to believe the hoax of 9/11 but our heads and our hearts told us; that the official story just didn’t add up; that the laws of physics can’t lie; that 300 degree celsius fires can’t melt steel; that Building Seven, that 47 story steel and concrete edifice couldn’t just implode suddenly at 5.20PM on the afternoon of 11th September; and the BBC couldn’t have predicted and announced its implosion 20 minutes before it happened, unless forewarned.

Amazingly they both list the fact that the collapse of WTC7 was sudden (it wasn't, it was expected all day) and the fact that the BBC predicted its explosion, indicating that the collapse was not sudden, as proof.
