Whatever Happened to Building Wut?
I've noticed a distinct silence from the Building Wut campaign since their last plea for donations. Surely millions of New Yorkers have been woken up, and the former sheeple are marching on New York City Hall to demand an investigation, right?

I still love the idea that "nobody ever heard of building 7" or that there was some sort of cover up. Anyone who viscerally recalls watching the news all day that day (as I do) will remember the updates that went on for hours about how "building 7 is on fire and in danger of collapse". They kept telling us this again and again because, well, it was live breaking news but after the two towers collapsed, there wasn't a whole lot of new developments to report on.
I'll say on 9/10 that I had never heard of WTC 7, but I sure knew about it after that day.
SSDD -Same shit, different day.
Another epic failure by the loons.
The donations have hovered below $90,000 for a week or so now. Good thing they moved the bar down from $500,000 to $100,000, right? 90% of goal sure looks better than 18% of goal.
Did they ever buy any air time with the money they did raise? Did the commercial ever air? If not, what happened to the money? Inquiring minds want to know.
I think they're waiting to reach their goal. Regardless, even if they reach $100,000, it will be a waste of money. It takes millions to put an effective ad campaign together.

And Triterope wins The Sixty Four Thousand Dollar Question!
Congratulations Triterope! Now, Don Pardo, show him what's behind the curtain...
Seriously folks, Triterope asks a most relevant question: How did the evil, black hearted troofer con men manage to embezzle the money?
Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm on their mailing list, and there's been nothing since September 10. They were hoping to reach $100k by the 12th.
Maybe they've got some sort of package deal lined up whereby they get so many airings per $100k. Their website says $400 per ad, so that's 250 airings. Maybe if they don't spend $100k the ads cost way more.
And/or maybe they're crooks. ;)
Oops, I forgot about the 5% going to Box Boy and 5% going to NYCCAN'T.
