You Would Think that An Architect Would be Better at Numbers...

It took me 3 days, but I finally got through the entire Richard Gage lecture. There are too many inanities to point out, but this comment in his closing remarks had me laughing.

Also, I want you to hear, after I am through here in about 5 seconds, from the Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth, and they're in every campus. Many, many, many campuses.

Every campus? It was just two weeks ago when Pat pointed us to this newspaper article pointing to the number of members they had.

Martell is quick to stress that the student organization, with 80 members from schools in Canada to Japan, is more focused on the investigation into 9/11 than the possibility of controlled demolition.

Given that are well over 2,000 universities, just in the United States alone, and that is just the 4 year schools, and with enrollment totalling over 17 million post-secondary students, they are certainly spreading themselves thin.

Eighty members worldwide? My god there are more professors (admittedly emeritus) than there are students in the college of 9-11 knowledge.

Now that might just be the greatest political ad ever. I think the rock symbolizes 9-11 Truthers everywhere, causing little ripples that fade away quickly, while they sink rapidly to the bottom. Something like that, anyway.

McCain & the Truthers, Round Two

I do wish he wouldn't frame the issue as one of free speech; he doesn't hesitate to decry the tone in Washington, which is also free speech. But again, he stands up strongly for the 9-11 Commission, and gets the right answer on the dissatisfied families. We only hear about them because the satisfied families have gotten on with their lives.

He seems to realize that there's no there, there with regard to the financial investigations that he promised to make, but he's unwilling to completely blow off the Troofers. Sound and video quality are awful.

The Student Scholars attempt one of their patented ambushes of Hillary Clinton, but unfortunately they went with "Weren't you at Bilderberger last year?" and Hillary expresses (probably legitimate) bafflement at what he's talking about. So the entertainment value is much lower than many of the other candidate videos. C'mon guys, you've gotta go back to "Did you know that fire can't melt steel?" and that sort of stuff or we're going to stop covering it here.

It's nice that the kid brings up Dean's infamous comment about how the Saudis might have warned Bush. Dean ducks the questions about a new investigation, but we don't accept dodgeball around here. If you want to get credit from us, you've gotta denounce these kooks. So far, the only Democrat who's come close is Barack Obama (very end of the clip):
