Vote Da Vinci Code Worst Movie of 2006

Well, our buddies at 9-11 Blogger are trying to get United 93 declared the worst movie of 2006 at IMDB and the Da Vinci Code is apparently the top vote-getter right now.

If you haven't seen United 93, I recommend it highly, although of couse, it is intense and as I recommended back in May, decompress before doing anything like driving afterwards. United 93 has already won Best Picture honors from the New York Critics' Circle and the Boston Critics, so the notion that it's the worst picture of 2006 arises solely from the nutbar crowd.

God those guys over at 9/11 blogger are just pathetic. I love how they talk about changing subjects when that is all that they ever do. These people are pathetic. It's the worst movie because it disagrees with their theory plain and simple, why can't they just say it? Instead they say they don't like it and spout off some conspiracy bullshit, but most of them who say it's a crap movie can't even tell you what they think happened to it. They always say something like "it doesn't matter what happened to it, all I know is that what we were told is a lie". This would only be really pathetic if they could at least have one theory on what happened. As is, it's immeasurably pathetic. Some of them just disgust with me with how stupid they are.

Yeah, and Da Vinci Code is obviously the worst movie because it says that Jesus was only a man which is totally Muslim and not at all backed up by scientific evidence which this site proves is the most important thing.

What I'm saying has nothing to do with Da Vinci Code. I haven't even seen it so I have no comment about it. The reality is that there are probably worse movies than that, but what's important about United 93 is that they want to vote it as the worst movie because they say it is a lie, but they can't even tell you what they believe happened to it. That is pathetic. When they can come up with one concrete explanation for what they think happened to it, then they might be taken somewhat seriously. Come on. Da Vinci code has nothing to do with 9/11 conspiracies.

If you saw the film, look at the slideshow scene where the English character explains the conspiracy to Hanks and that chick. His reasoning in that scene is identical to the way conspiracy theorists think.

Bang on JP! I watched DaVinci Code last night for the first time, and when I hit that scene, that's exactly what I thought. It's also the point as which I lost whatever tiny bit of interest I still had in the movie. I agree that Jeesus was just a man, but the convoluted path that this poor bugger took to get to that conclusion reminded me too much of BG and Swinger. I get enough of them here, I don't need to also pay to see them.

Personally havent seen Davinci Code, but will soon. I loved the book, but that is because it is FICTION. That is the point, is that these things make for GREAT ESCAPES from REALITY, but they are FICTION!!!!

As for United 93, havent seen it either, but it is on my "to see" list.

Flight 93 was a made for tv version that was ok, but really lacked the dramatic tension that such a film made for the big screen should, and likely would have.

I think religion is a bit silly.

The Da Vinci Code is a rubbish movie. Tortured logic, exceptionally weak plot full of coincidence and stuff which didn't really make very much sense, not even a very interesting concept. Something vaguely supposed to be based in historical fact which contains so much fabrication is also grating but I can let it slide.

Couldn't get very far into the book because Dan Brown is an atrocious writer.

But then again what do I know, I thought The Albino Code was funny in places.
