The Elephant in the Room Part 4
Cynthia McKinney is the featured nutbar in this segment. As you can see, Cynthia is about as well versed in economics as most Troofers. She starts out with the claim that for fiscal 1999, the Pentagon was missing $2.3 trillion and in fiscal 2000 an additional $1.1 trillion was missing. Of course that's all the same money, and it wasn't missing for those years but from many prior years, and anyway, weren't those years that the Clinton Administration was in power?
McKinney states that her trip (apparently to Europe, at least to England and France is about "Nine one one truth", which is noteworthy, since the kooks all refer to it as "Nine eleven truth". We get an odd lecture from her on citizenship, followed by an even odder bit of her filing her nails. Then we get more personal grooming as Cynthia visits a beauty parlor. She lets her hair down, which is quite a sight:
McKinney states that she assumes this will be left on the editing room floor, which does raise an obvious question: Why was this left in there? To show Cynthia's human side (as compared to her nutbar side)?
And in the end we get yet another lecture (the third so far in the film) about how unfair it is that the term "conspiracy theory" gets thrown around.
