Waterboy Continues His "No True Muslim" Fallacy
At his blog:
The most obvious reason that the Commission was off-track is that Muslims do not murder innocent people. Some people find this statement outrageous. Of course Muslims murder innocent people, they say, that’s what al Qaeda does.
The problem is that, as a society, many of us have been trained to accept religion as a noncommittal affiliation or label. For example, many of the current U.S. leaders have engaged in mass murder around the world over the last ten years yet they still call themselves Christians. Anyone can see that they are not. Those who truly believe in God live by the laws of the religion they proclaim and Christians do not engage in wars of aggression or the torture and killing of other human beings. But this of course ignores the fact that many people struggle to live up to the tenets of their religion. That does not mean they are not religious; it just means they are fallible.
Ryan goes on to mention a lot of the Hopsicker nonsense:
Atta’s stripper girlfriend, Amanda Keller, said that Atta and al Shehhi “had massive supplies of cocaine” which they restocked whenever needed at one of the flight schools run by Dutch nationals in Florida. Keller said that during the time she dated him, she saw Atta do cocaine himself on multiple occasions. And, of course, Muslims don’t do cocaine or other illicit drugs. If the Truthers want to know why nobody takes them seriously, this is a pretty good reason. Amanda Keller didn't date Atta; she dated another man named Mohamed. But if you bring this up with Ryan, he wouldn't bother rebutting it; he'd just gallop onto another talking point. And an hour later, he'd again be talking about Atta's stripper girlfriend.

Anybody who thinks that Muslims don't do drugs, drink alcohol, or use prostitutes hasn't known many Muslims.

Hey, if an unemployed pool tester wants to explain how he understands true Islam and Christianity when the millions of Muslims and Christians who killed people in countless wars through the centuries didn't, who am I to ignore him?
Obviously, he knows what he's talking about.
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." - Matthew 10:34
"Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not." - Quran 2:216
Obviously, Ryan understand the Bible and Quran about as well as he understands the NIST report.
The Rand Corp has a new white paper out where Al Qaeda is viewed as a cult. I think this model works better. AQ has more in common with Aum Shinrikyo (of the Tokyo sarin subay attacks) than it does with even its cousin, The Islamic Brotherhood.
There has to be something pathological in the entire group. Uncle Fetzer is still clinging to vines on a piece of pentagon wreckage.
In the months and days leading up to 9/11, the alleged hijackers were reported to have drank alcohol heavily in bars, purchased pornographic materials, watched strippers, and paid for lap dances. Needless to say, people who follow the teachings of the Qu’ran (Muslims) do not do any of those things.
Ryan should spend a couple nights in Amsterdam. I've watched Muslim friends knock out that entire list in a single evening.
Yeah, and Catholic priests don't molest alter boys. I find it hard to believe he has never heard of religious hypocrisy.
Did it ever occur to you that Dr. Ryan (aka, water boy) is a compulsive liar?
Surely Ryan knows about the Herald Tribune article wherein she confessed to lying about her alleged relationship with Atta.
Lying is Standard Operating Procedure for the 9/11 "truth movement."
Ryan's post is a blatant lie. Muslims kill innocents almost every day just for not being muslim.
Pat Curley continues his "I can't debunk anything" streak, failing to refute any substantive criticism of his disproved beliefs, every single time.
What does that level of futility feel like, Pat? Provide some insight for once. You know, for novelty's sake.
