Has Richard Andrew Grove Seen This?

James talked a couple days ago about RAG. He's an amusing little twit and one of his parlor tricks is mentioning apparent references to 9-11 in pre-9-11 pop culture.

Here's one from the January 1944 issue of Air Fighters Comics:

In the story, Airboy (the tow-headed youth) is investigating the disappearance of bomber parts and oil in the American Southwest, and discovers that a group of Nazis has taken over an Indian village, and are using it as a staging area. Fortunately (as you probably guessed) Airboy saves the day.

And to the inevitable scolds, this is intended to be a lighter post.

Default, IIRC the kamikazes weren't used until later in the war.

Weren't used till the japanese knew they had no hope of winning. The point of kamikaze was to do enough damage to American forces so that a negociated peace could be reached.

Wow. This blog has come a long way from when it started.

You guys should have stuck with making fun of the way Dylan prounces certain words, and errors like "B-25 not B-52".

Taking on the whole 9/11 Truth movement is definitely not your strong suit, and from the looks of your numbers of posts, it appears that nobody is interested in hearing your fairytale defense outside a few pro-government loyalists. Good luck!

Man, you're in some serious denial.

'Only Bush-lovers can defend the (cue evil music) OFFICIAL STORY!'

Oh, so what about those of us that didn't vote for Bush? Or those of us that aren't American? Hmmm a quandry if there ever was one, wouldn't you agree?

Sorry pal, if you wanna go by popularity (which I don't because the truth isn't a popularity contest, but have it your way), the so-called "official story" wins in a landslide.

Sorry most of us have jobs and aren't home all day to post on the LC forums like you and your logic-deficient cohorts.

That's a pretty huge error. The planes aren't alike at all. It's just one example of how shoddy their research is.

I love how a conspiracy nut chose the handle "realist".

Chf, my favorite example of that was when Dylan said a national groundstop had not been ordered since 1903. Literally true, but of course Dylan made it sound like there was one back then.

Realist, click on the sitemeter at the side above "Allies" if you want to be disabused of the notion that we're not getting a lot of traffic. We average about 1600 visitors per day. Yesterday we did 3200, and we're almost to that at 6:30 PM today. We get huge traffic from forums all around the world that are getting spammed by the Loosers. Usually the next poster on that forum links to us. :)

hahah when I first saw this part of Loose Change I was thinking "Do these guys know the plane was invented in 1903?"

Crimes of ommission are great.

I also like how he chose a post that was listed as being 'light-hearted' to make his lame little tirade. Next he will go to the playground and beat up some small children to prove how tough he is.
