Bowman Milking the Deniers

With a claim that he's "in striking distance" of winning a congressional seat in Florida. The guys at 9-11 Blogger eat it up, revealing that they know as much about politics as they do about 9-11. Bowman's running against a safe Republican (Dr. Dave Weldon) in a very conservative district on Florida's Space Coast. There is ZERO chance that Bowman will win; in 2004, for example, Weldon didn't even draw a challenger. (Correction: As pointed out in the comments by Consdemo, Weldon did face a Democrat in 2004 and won 65%-35%. My point about Bowman's odds of winning remain the same.)

My friends on the Space Coast tell me that they haven't even seen an ad for Bowman. Of course, given his nuttiness, that may work in his favor, so that he doesn't lose the sane Democrat vote. I have heard Weldon's commercials and he makes sure to mention Bowman's 9-11 Denial.

Bowman appeared on Webster Tarpley's show (more interesting music than Jason Bermas or Jim Fetzer), and lied his face off:

"Things are looking good and we expect to win... now we see that the incumbent Republican is spending a lot of money to put out slick fliers condemning me and my views and here's one that one of my people brought in the other day: 'The reviews are in! Nutball conspiracy tales and smorgasbord paranioa! Crackpot conspiracy! It's not the latest action thriller, it's Bob Bowman, Democrat for Congress."

Hilariously, Bowman goes on to recite at length all the nutbar things he's accused of saying by various newspapers. Good to hear that the editorial boards of those Florida media outlets are not ignoring his 9-11 Denial.

Well, pretty much every candidate claims they are going to win even when they haven't the faintest chance. It is funny to see the nutjobs lap it up. Notice how they give themselves an out, if Dumbass Bob doesn't win, it must have been "stolen". One conspiracy begats another.

Pat does make one error in his post. Weldon did have an opponent in 2004. Someone named Sim Pristoop got 35% of the vote.

he released a tape denying involvement

So you chose to believe one over the other? Why? And if he's just a shill for the government (which of the million conspiracies do you believe in?), why change his story?

the bin Laden confession tape was fake.

You've never watched the tape. You saw the awful screens the conspiracy theorists show you. In the tape it's quite obviously him.

also, the FBI no longer considers him a suspect, saying they have "no hard evidence."

Keep quoting things from years ago! You morons keep forgetting we know ALL your tricks. This bullshit doesn't work on us. They never said he wasn't a suspect, at the time they said no HARD evidence (that means fingerprints, DNA, etc).

I'm sure you'd say there's no evidence Hitler ordered the Holocaust, either. I mean a written order was never discovered (and most likely didn't exist).

Lets get this out of the way. You're a moron and a troll.

Ok;

I have watched the tape in question, and in the vast majority of the tape (not selected pics) he looks like OBL. The people he is with, also look like the real deal (Zwahiri for example).

They have plenty of evidence connecting him to the attacks, but as the figure head who approved it, and little else. KSM was the true mastermind, and I can tell you, he will be tried and found guilty. It is difficult to build a case on the figurehead of the organization.

That said, if you go to the FBI site, they do say that he and others may be later wanted for other terrorist crimes, SUCH AS THE ATTACKS OF 9/11.

It is sad that so many people in the CT movement call for the procecution and hanging of BUSH for 9/11. I wonder, if they are wrong, can we apply the same punishment to them? would they mind if we turned the tables. Is making public false accusations against your own government treason? Is treason punishable by death? Would they be so eager to accuse if this were the case? See asking questions is one thing, but most of the anonymous CTers, from the safety of their bedrooms, do much more than that... they are accusing BUSH/CHENEY/RUMSFELD of mass murder of 3000 people.

The CTers, the largest bunch of hypocrits I have ever seen, cry like infants that the USA is becoming a police state, yet the very arguments they make, are proof they do not exist in any such state. The fact that they can accuse and not be fined, tried, let alone taken out and shot for such, is proof that the USA is far, far, from a police state.

I live in the Space Coast area and I can confirm that Bowman is getting no coverage. I can't recall seeing so much as a bumper sticker or TV spot. I've seen very little about his opponent, either. I don't think the GOP is spending any money here, because the seat simply isn't at risk. Every other political analysis that has been done agrees.

According to OpenSecrets.org, which compiles election donation data, Bowman has only spent $75K on the race, to his opponent's $600K. (link)

They won't confirm his other crimes until he's indicted by a grand jury or otherwise found guilty in a court of law.
