FBI Gives Up Its Pursuit of Bermas....
Or something. I got a tip in my email this morning that the Department of Justice employee whose IP address showed on Bermas' fraternity forum, turned out to be one of Jason's former frat brothers, not an FBI agent hot on the trail of the Loosers. The forum's administrator was quite upset that Dylan had posted screenshots of the forum, which is intended for fraternity members only.
What would you do if you'd made that mistake? I'd take down the pictures and post an apology. Not Do-Over Dylan, however. Instead, he just took down the entire post with no explanation, no apology. The thread that he started on this topic over at the Looser's forum has vanished as well.
This demonstrates one major difference between this blog and Dylan's. We're not starting a cult of personality over here, so when we make mistakes (and we've made a few), we correct the mistake and note it within the body of the same post. We also put up a new post announcing the correction. See here for a good example.

I respect your comments, Pat.
Yes apparently the old forum has risen from the dead and has taken over the new LC Forum.
As for making mistakes, I remember the Steven Jones PhD error made here. It may be the link you posted (i didnt check it). I do remember the bloggers here admitted they erred, and posted an apology to the same.

I respect your dedication to leaving as much of the record intact as necessary to preserve the story. That said, I'll posit that the actual name of the fraternity is not necessary here. They are innocent bystanders and didn't ask for any of the crap Dylan visited upon them with his paranoid rantings. Count me as one vote for removing the fraternity's name and just referring to it as "Jason Bermas' fraternity" or similarly. If nothing else, I'd hate to see some Justice Dept. staffer reprimanded for using his computer on government time just because Dylan is an idiot.
Now it appears that not only have the deleted the thread on this subject, they have deleted the thread about the deletion of the thread. Bizarre.
and they accuse the USG of covering tracks...lol...seems LC Forum is better at it than anyone else.
Better watch it DG, or before you know it, you'll notice you have no reflection in the mirror...
