Man i thought those twoofers rallies [sic] was all dead and shit.
In case you didn't notice, dumbass, there were a handful of twoofer signs. Pretty much every group against difficult choices was there. Don't want to curtail fossil fuel consumption, want to get rid of immigrants, don't want to defend ourselves against the terrorist threat, against socialism but for "free" health care for everyone. It was a typical nihilistic nut rally, in that sense it resembles twoofer rallies but twoofers were only a small part of the ugly mosaic.
Other than "Obama" replacing "Bush" in the propaganda, there isn't a shred of difference between the 2007 protest and the 2010 protest. I bet you could find the same people in both crowds if you looked hard enough.
It amazes me that everything that's happened in the last two years has had zero impact on the tone or message of this demonstration.
I'm sure the more conspiracy-minded will interpret this as DURR FALSE CHOICE DURR REPUBLICRATS DURR NWO CONSPIRACY DURRRRRRR. But I think it's something else: I think protesting and political symbolism are a lifestyle to these people, as opposed to a way to accomplish political change.
You know, as commentors on this blog have claimed, and Dylan Avery whining to ABC news, on Rob Breakenrdige, etc... that 9/11 truthers are "reticant to use the term inside job"
...but they have absolutely no problem making signs and showing up to public functions screaming "9/11 was an inside job!"
Every single thing they do contradicts everything they say. I'd love to hear a troofers explanation for why they don't want to say inside job, but it's ok if they say it on a poster, or in the case of Dylan, its ok to say it in his movies, but not in interviews because then you're just "trying to get sound bytes."

Did you read the article, jizzmop?
Had you done so, you'd know that troofers represent a fraction of the protesters who decided attend the SF event.
Next time, read the article before you make an ass of yourself, cretin.

Too late.
Zombie da man with tpics, whoever he/she is.
Find his web site and track down allllll the foam-frothing Bush as Hitler pics he has.
OT: Troofers' top ally turns to the dark side
This story looks familiar.
Oh, now I remember: we saw this exact same protest three years ago.

@ConsDemo,
"against socialism but for "free" health care for everyone."
Joe McCarthy is alive and cicking.
A trait you Americans share with the Truther boys is paranoia.
"Joe McCarthy is alive and cicking (sic)."
I've never gotten an answer to my question about ol' Joe: what do you call a witch hunt that keeps on finding witches?
The witch hunts of the middle ages times kept finding witches.
Being witty doesn't make your paranoia go away.
Well, at the very least, Henry is here to tell us all how much America sucks. That's something HE shares with the Troofer boys.
Joe McCarthy is alive and cicking.
Wow, pointing out the hypocrisy of nihilistic protesters is McCarthyite? Who knew?

I thought the same thing. I'm not really seeing the connection between the contradictory protest demands and McCarthyism.
"Henry said...

Ummm.....no they didn't.
Which is the point of my question.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the sound of a point whizzing right over a fucktards head.
Kinda amusing, that.
