A Comic Book Excuse
Over at Flogger, the guy who's producing the 9-11 Troof comic book comes up with a novel (and hilarious) excuse for Richard Gage's latest tour, in which he's sharing a stage with Anti-Vaxxers, Holocaust Deniers, and other kooks:
When someone is insulting Richard Gage, they are also insulting the work of over 40 volunteers that discuss all of these events on a regular basis; working hard to make them happen.
The flip side of not having Richard go to events that some think are not worth it: Damage Control.
I know people who are disappointed with Richard aren't going to be going to these events to make sure 9/11 is portrayed reasonably and responsibly.
Would it be better to let the Judy Woods of 9/11 take the stage?
BTW, the comments over there also have some interesting things to say about pot:
I've heard that a big reason for the crackdown on Marijuana in the 60s was that the young people using it were able with enhanced perception to see through the war propaganda and were protesting rather than enlisting.
And:
I hope to stay on topic, I just don't understand why Garerth would, of all things, include only pot-smoking as the correlation to a lack of critical thinking.

'Ten-City Tour to Shatter 9/11 Myth with Explosive Evidence'
Shatter! Explosive!
I love this shit!
Lol!!!!
“At the same time, those who have not considered this issue before might receive a potentially life-changing wake-up call.” Indeed – many of us are grateful to have been similarly “woken-up”.
Do the words 'religious fervour' spring to mind?
On June 20, the myth-shattering work of AE911Truth will enter the halls of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), one of the world’s most prestigious architecture organizations, when Gage gives a milestone presentation at their historic headquarters in the heart of London. RIBA member Craig Kiner paved the way for this landmark assembly, and Gage is hopeful that other RIBA architects will be enlightened to the startling evidence as a result.
“I’m very excited to bring the explosive evidence to the building experts at the Royal Institute of British Architects,” Gage said. “Many are not aware of this information, and once technical professionals see it, they reluctantly, but overwhelmingly, agree that there must be a new investigation.”
Myth-shattering! Milestone presentation! Landmark assembly! Startling evidence! Explosive evidence! Lol! And, that comment about their ‘reluctant’ manner…comedy gold. Make a video, please!!!!!
The U.K. portion of this tour will conclude on June 21, when Gage presents the incendiary 9/11 evidence in the new wing of the famous Colston Hall in Bristol, England. According to organizer Sheila Coombes, Bristol is already abuzz in anticipation of Gage’s arrival.
Incendiary! Bristol is abuzz!
I love this shit!!!
I think truthers are really making those of us who enjoy smoking the occasional herb look bad. I've smoked more than my fair share in life and it didn't turn me into a paranoid lunatic. It just made me want to listen more closely to various rock albums.
The gift that keeps on giving;
"Fortunately for citizens of mainland Europe, this tour doesn’t end at England’s shores."
Bwahahahahaha!!!!
At the end, however, reality starts to creep in:
“I hope that many people will attend the presentations in each city,” he said, “but in the end, you only need to open the eyes of just one observer who could bring our important message to a whole new level.”
Translation: if five people turn up, it's a success!
The comments are another world.
Hilarious.

Yes, truthers give pot a bad name.
It also proves conclusively that some people should not go near the stuff.
I think most people shouldn't go near the stuff. It takes a pretty strong will to use it judiciously. Most people just get obsessed with it.
More evidence for the Willie Nelson Hypothesis.
Regardless of what you think about pot, most people would accept that it does not enhance perception. It may make you think that you are seeing things more clearly, but it's a delusion, just like my fantasy that I become incredibly witty and irresistible to women after a few adult beverages.
As an artist I found pot or any other drug did little to make one a better artist or more creative, only made you think mediocrity was cool.

That's not a delusion; it happens to me, as well!
Pot...well, I find it can be very pleasant (occasionally) when fly fishing for trout on a beautiful lake, or glorious river.
And, listening to music, though not for practicing piano.
Triterope is right; the obsession factor is high. People always underestimate it.
Truthers should keep well away from the stuff.
