The World's Lamest Business Plan

This is just a quick little post, on a relatively minor topic, but it was so bizarre I figured I would post it. From the 54:15 mark:

President Bush’s brother, Marvin, was Board of Directors at Securacom from 1993 until fiscal year 2000. Securacom, now known as Stratesec, is an electronic security company which provided security for United Airlines, Dulles International Airport, and from the early 1990s up to the day of 9-11, the World Trade Center. Marvin is also former director at HCC Insurance Holdings, which insured parts of the World Trade Center on 9-11.

Is he really suggesting that the insurance company is connected to the destruction of the WTC? OK, I may only be finishing my first year of business school, but would someone please explain to me the profit in an insurance company destroying the property it insures!

Just bizarre.

Hmmm...Dick Cheney used to run Haliburton...but I SURE he had no interests in Halliburton suppling the war...I'm sure he hasn't profitted in any way...Can you say 'naive'?

Marvin Bush (as you referenced) was involved with the security company. Not the insurance company.

Huh? being on their board of directors is now defined as not being involved. If the connection is irrelevent, then why is it in the movie!?

Marvin is also former director at HCC Insurance Holdings, which insured parts of the World Trade Center on 9-11.

How many coincidences can one explain away?

One occurrence is happenstance.
Two is coincidence.
Three is enemy action.

Three steel framed buildings dropped straight down, two planes.
