Deniers Try to Dig Up Dirt on Stephen Lemons

This is actually pretty funny. Turns out the kooks are trying to get Stephen Lemons fired. Utilizing their usual crack (pipe) investigative skills, they discovered that one Stephen Lemons of Clinton, Massachusetts had recently served 3.5 years for molesting a 15-year-old boy. Of course, to the 9-11 Deniers, there could only be one Stephen Lemons in the world. That the Stephen Lemons in question looks nothing like our guy (for starters, he appears to be 20 years older or so) is a mere bagatelle, a distraction to throw them off the scent. That the Massachusetts pervert story is from January 29, 2007, and that our man penned his initial column on Eric D. Williams' Holocaust Denial on February 1, 2007 simply shows that he had his escape to Phoenix planned well beforehand.

Failing in this, the Deniers have taken to writing letters to the editor regarding his treatment of Bob McIlvaine, the father of a 9-11 victim, but that isn't going to work either.

BTW, on the subject of people with the same names, an emailer sent me some information that seems pertinent in this regard. Turns out there are at least two Mohammed Attas living in Norway, one in Sweden, and astoundingly five in the United States. Boy, it must suck to have that name here in the USA!

Well, I've never heard about these allegations until now. There's plenty to show he's an ass without making up anything.

Now I do hear rumours his publisher has some sort of KKK connection, but as far as I know that's just a RUMOR.

So, Patrick, I noticed you do most of the work around here. And you lads do work hard. It's like a part-time job, innit? The most I get up to blogging is once a week.

Got to respect that work ethic--and on Saturdays and Sundays, too!

Like hey man, 2 Atta's in Norway?

Like what do they say, "Atta Boy, Boxcutters?"

ha ha ha ha I make myself laugh!

I mean, like I have a unique name, so like everything with my name is mine, except for that stuff that some guy with the same name as me wrote over at Little Green Footballs.

Funny how 9/11 Deniers are saying they are fighting against fascism, such as the government investigating private citizens..

And now they are trying to invade this man's personal life because of a comment he made. I don't agree with his comment, but I wouldn't go to the extent of ruining a man's life because he used his freedom of speech.

You're taking the piss TAM--you do not BLOG everyday. Unless you have some other blog not listed in your profile?

Blogging requires writing, editing, and research--that all takes time.

Commenting just requires you to shoot your mouth off through the keyboard a couple of minutes at a time.

Like I said, these guys, THEY WORK HARD.

lol...do you not notice that you can allow some blogs revealed and others not...in your profile Jannay. You think I want my private blogs listed for you and your psychopaths to post on. I have one dedicated to my 2 children, so when they grow up they will be able to read my thoughts on things at the time. I also have a medical blog.

Neither of these do I have any desire to have you or your ilk attached to.

But thanks for trying to take a piss on me.

TAM--well, I did ask--twit. It's STILL a lot of work.

The phrase "taking the piss" isn't about urination, you know that, right?

Just checking--not sure whether you're confused or trying to be witty...

Jenny, I'm obsessive/ compulsive, which is to say I'm a typical blogger. And anybody who doesn't realize that 95% of the posts around here are tossed off easily doesn't know beans about blogging. The real effort was in the early months getting up to speed. At this point James and I have to do little research, really.

ok, now that I am urbanized, and know what "take the piss" means,

Yes Jenny, I was "taking the piss". Not of Pat and JamesB, but of you. The way you worded your posting to them, about their "hard work" I interpreted as you mocking them, so I mocked you as a result.
