Korey Rowe--Errors in LC on Purpose
Sheesh, these guys aren't too ridiculous:
ROWE: What I encourage people to do is go out and research it themselves. We don't ever come out and say that everything we say is 100 percent. We know there are errors in the documentary, and we've actually left them in there so that people discredit us and do the research for themselves -- the B52 (remarked to have flown into the Empire State Building), the use of Wikipedia, things like that. We left them in there so people will want to discredit us and go out and research the events yourself and come up with your own conclusions. That's our whole goal, to make Americans think. To wake up from the 16 amps of your television to watch something and get a passion in something again.
Of course, to most of us, the errors indicated that Loose Change was a shoddy piece of agitprop. But to Rowe, it's just a test to see if we're paying attention. Maybe that's why they hate SLC and the Gravy Guide so much; because you don't have to do your own research.

Soooo.... Why the 17 thousand different versions? Why take the pod theory out?
Better yet, why not throw on a little "afterward" at the end of the flick saying, "99% of this shit is wrong, but we want YOU the viewer to go and find out which 99% it is", instead of making conclusive statements like "Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon."
Just a suggestion Joan.
Now if you'll excuse me, the prospect of this being a Monday has overcome me with fear. I must go jump out a window.
Here's more stuff for you guys to "debunk." :D
September 11th Revisited: Were explosives used?
LOL This reminds me of some drunk guy in a bar trying to impress a woman and when he trips over his own feet he gets up and proclaims "I meant to do that".
Maybe that's why they hate SLC and the Gravy Guide so much; because you don't have to do your own research.
Ha ha, that's exactly what you people are afraid of.
Avery Dylan:
"Like hey man, don't research, take OUR word on it, Gravy like, um.. rocks! Although most of his work is his opinion and not footnoted, he still rocks! SLC simply echos 'offical' theory, like um.. why would you believe anything the CT'ers are saying when the offical source is so much better.. yep, um.. he he he, ha."

Sorta like our commander and chimp huh?
And here I thought it was TWO B-52s that crashed into the Empire State Building.
Unfortunately for me, B-52s were not around in 1945 when that accident occurred.
Unfortunately for the brain-dead imbeciles behind "Loose Change" (it should be renamed "Loose Brains"), documentaries are supposed to be COMPLETELY and FACTUALLY true. No person who does the documentary puts in wrong information to make the viewer go out and "do their own research."
That's either laziness by the idiots who did this, or they believe those lies. Either way, it exposes them as FRAUDS.
To be fair, their fantasy flick wasn't meant to be a documentary; as we all know, it began life as a work of fiction, and it remains a work of fiction. Unfortiunately Dylan and Corey figured out (probably about half-way through) that they'd make more money if they called it a "documentary" instead.
Screw this site, did you guys even watch the loose change video? its based off of SCIENTIFIC FACT! WATCH IT ALL and THEN try to say it's bull shit. The whole Bush administration are the real terroritsts!
I don't get this site, did you guys even watch the loose change video? It's based off of SCIENTIFIC FACT! WATCH IT ALL and THEN try to say its lies. The whole Bush administration are the real terroritsts!
I don't get this site. Did you guys even watch the loose change video? It's based off of SCIENTIFIC FACT! Just sit and watch it and then, THEN, decide if you believe it.
One more time with feeling, broke.
hehe.
might as well answer his question though. yes, every single regular commenter here has seen the loose change video. in fact, that piece of crap is what brought most of us here in the first place.
So is there anyone not IP banned over there who can open a "spot the intentional errors in LC2ERecut" thread?
That's actually a REALLY good idea...
We should start such a thread over at JREF...lol
Brokeback Gregor:
I have watched it 7 times now, plus I have watched it with the SLC critique at least twice.
The amount of fact in the film approaches about 15-20%.
The errors, assumption, projection, speculation, and conjecture makes up the remaining 80-85%....oh, and of course that inlcudes all the intentionally left in errors. :)
Yeah, us fat guys in suits talking on cell phones have to have a good idea every now and again or the illuminati takes our cellphones away.
I don't get this site.
Real simple: We debunk the nonsense fillinf 'Loose Change' and oterh conspriacy nonsense.
Did you guys even watch the loose change video?
Why yes, I did.
It's based off of SCIENTIFIC FACT!
This must be one of those newage definitions of SCIENTIFIC FACT which actually means: "Doesn't have a freaking shred to do with science or even reality."
Just sit and watch it and then, THEN, decide if you believe it.
I've done that. It is a load of useless, pathetic, deceptive, underhanded, scummy, propagandistic, lying crud.
All I can think of is the ending of Astro Boy episodes that used to air on Global TV in Canada.
I remember that it would end with Astro Boy going into some computer room and reporting on whatever he had done in the episode. After the report, a voice would implore the viewer to grab a pencil and paper and write down the error "I repeat, which error", Astro made in the report "in order to play with you".
So, Dylan is making a tribute to some Japanese cartoon that I only watched a couple minutes of because there was hockey coming on right after it. Or We Got it Made. Or something. Mmmmm, Teri Copley.
Thanks, Dylan!
"... did you guys even watch the loose change video? It's based off of SCIENTIFIC FACT! WATCH IT ALL and THEN try to say its lies."
I watched the loose change video.
Its lies.
It's lies.
It is lies.
It is full of lies.
Etc.
Wow, so I can do my own research but it can't go against what they believe. What total bull...
Why is nesnyc wasting valuable oxygen.
Wow, so I can do my own research but it can't go against what they believe.
But wait, there's more! In a thread that's too stupid for even the Loosers, Do-Over Dylan complains that he gets called a fascist when he bans people like the guy whose idea (for the benefit of the IP banned) is that the trade center jumpers were hypnotized into setting the charges for the controlled demolation. But then he doesn't ban the guy.
No, oh advocate for Osama, you get called a fascist because you brook guys like that but ban people with actual, factual corrections to your terrorist propaganda.
n.b.: Yes, I'm aware that the guy is probably one of the film's opponents trolling to see who can be made to bite on the most outrageous theory. But still. Most outrageous idea yet = keep it in the weirdo forum; challenges to the facts in the film = banned.
Dylan,
Does this mean I have to move out of the trailer?
What did you mean when you said, "Throw Jason overboard?"
Should I take the reenlistment bonus?
I ask a lot of questions for a guy with a G.E.D.
Well apparently those of us at Screw Loose Change must not want people to do their own research, because we manage to get our facts straight.
Why is nesnyc wasting valuable oxygen.
So there could be less for you.
He really should enter the next Tour De France--he could totally win with that kind of backpedalling.
Not only would he set the record for the fastest finish, but he'd be the first person EVER to complete the tour in reverse!
So there could be less for you.
Logical, rational folks who don't let their biases disregard facts? There's a shame there aren't more of me.
Not only would he set the record for the fastest finish, but he'd be the first person EVER to complete the tour in reverse!
[Insert cheap shot at French military here]
NESNYC:
That is the first, legitimately funny thing I have heard you say...good one.
