Reports from Ground Zero

Are starting to trickle in. As we discussed yesterday, the 9-11 Deniers did not get nearly the attention they had anticipated from the national media.

Several of the JREF Ninjas were present. Reality Bites reports:

I'll hand it to the truthers... they had a solid contingent of black t-shirted... people. More than I thought would show, but I'm sure not as many as DylanCo hoped. All the regulars from the Saturday faction, plus a lot of new faces that were there to "educate" (most of whom had to have been skipping class to be there), each with a handful of a certain DVD. Being that there were so many new faces who didn't recognize our little group, we decided to have a contest on which one of us could collect the most copies by the end of the day. (A final tally has yet to be done, but I think I had a pretty good showing.)

Abby Scott reports on the hero of the real 9-11 Truth Movement:

Mark Roberts had to be seen to be believed. He was articulate, patient (as well as he could be) while not letting anyone that he could see get away with making false statements to the press.

In fact, by the end of the day, it had incredibly clear to many folks that this was the man who knew what he was talking about. I was speaking with a few conspiracists, volunteer fireman, the girlfriend of another fireman and a bunch of onlookers when I was asked for proof of the quotes from firemen re: WTC7. I asked where was Mark's binder when I saw Gravy wave. Immediately, the crowd parted for him and many cheered. And where Alex Jones would have rushed in and started feeding off the conflict and hoots and hollers, Mark modestly said, no, no, this wasn't a time for cheering.

We are indeed fortunate to have him on our side.

Kate at Debunk 911 Myths was there as well, and provides photographs of the scene. Here's Do-Over Dylan, for once without the sunglasses on top of his head:

She also describes the reaction to Mark Roberts from the 9-11 Deniers:

I just want to add, I'm very impressed with Mark and his binder. He was very well spoken in explaining everything, and a treasuretrove of facts and information. Many of the truthers turned their heads away from the binder when Mark pulls it out. They can't face the facts.

Sounds like vampires hissing and turning away from the cross!

Kudos to all who took the day off from work to combat the Deniers.

Notice the gray in Avery's hair. He's gonna be steely white by the time Final Cut is released.

likely Dylan et al are resting from the fatigue of the day. I suspect you will see posts tonight, and tomorrow.

I want to see more photos, I want to hear more stories....don't hold back people...

On another forum, I had some 9-11 Denier tell me that 500,000 people would show up in NYC and DC to demand that the government tell them TEH TROOF. Seriously.

They will probably blame it on the victims of 9-11, I mean after all if they hadnt gone to work that day this whole thing would not have happened.

Nah, it's the MSM, of course. In fact, most of the police and firemen are now twufers. "Alex explained how police support for protesters at ground zero had gone from 20% support two years ago to around 60% support now - with many willing to affirm that sentiment on camera and many knowledgeable about Alex Jones' work and the 9/11 truth movement.

"Police just saying 'keep your investigation going, we appreciate you' on video," said Jones."

If there's anyone not banned over there, I think a request for some footage of policemen expressing their appreciation is in order. After all, that would be awesome for the twuf movement, wouldn't it?

They must have been at a different ground zero. Ask Chad about the truther who told a fireman that the FDNY was covering it up. The police were great in making sure that small crowds of people didn't turn into large angry mobs.

Chad and I had a contest to see who could collect the most loose change dvds from distributers. I won with 16! (Found some more in my bag, Chad.)

I just listened to the whatever bit on whatever internet radio show where he says this b.s.

What a liar. He says the parade of people went down three long city blocks? Uh uh. These are short, tiny blocks in the downtown area. A half mile long? No.

He talks about the police support and then describes the police escorts for their mini-march. The police had to do that. IT WAS THERE JOBS. Jiminy, I asked one cop, "You have to watch these guys all day?" His reaction was a shrug and nod of tired resignation.

He mentions about 12 to 15 "debunkers" out there. That's because the four of us that were there are three to four times as strong as they. What!

Oh, a good chunk. A few hundred. But they didn't receive the fireman/policeman love fest that Jones says they did.

Poor Abby. From reading your blog and entries here it's clear that you are an intelligent and erudite person. Obviously you've got a case of trufer fatigue, as you've made one of their grammar errors. The treatment for this is rest and quality alcohol.

Go to it -- you sure earned it, along with Gravy and the others who confronted the twufers!
