Yahoo Answers Gets It Right

This is pretty amusing. Apparently Yahoo has an "Ask Yahoo" function where you can ask a question, and a bunch of people submit their suggested answer. Then folks vote on the best answer, and that question becomes a "resolved question". For example, somebody asked:

Why won't NIST or Popular Science debate 9/11 Scholars for Truth?

I am not talking about Loose Change filmmakers, I am talking about ppl like Jones, Fetzer, Tarpley, and Griffin. And why do ppl tell me to read NIST report and 9/11 myths. I already have done this and they simply cannnot stand up to the facts. Literally hundreds of obvious ommisions and distortions. So why not debate. I will tell you why it is because they would get trounced and know it.

The best answer:

Because the NIST and Popular Mechanics are right and the case is closed. Scholars for Truth are a bunch of scary demented people. If you've ever heard any of them talk you have to see that they are psycho, their performances appear almost scripted and when asked questions they get uneasy and bluster their way and answer with their prepared statements.

Add yahoo.com to the list of conspirators.

Many of you might make this comment as a joke.

Go ahead, make fun of me because I'm serious.

BG, is there anyone not connected to the conspiracy?

Perhaps Google Video deems it unwise to censor WTC 7?

As opposed to Yahoo?

Does it hurt to be such a retard, or is it kind of liberating not to be held to account for anything?

Ok!

What do you call a serious conspiracy theorist?

Hilarious.

I have received confirmation from Jason Bermas that he and Korey Rowe will debate Mark Roberts on 'Hardfire,' two programs to be taped on December 14.

Two against one? They had better bring along Dylan just to have a chance.

That is right. The respone got a whopping 2 votes! Cheers for the answer! Certainly a majority of Yahoo! users who give a flying crap! Great post by the way.

haha, 9/11 conspiracy theories have reared their heads on the Yahoo! answers for some time. In fact, a user there that uses several 9/11 CT sites (url's) as his 'nickname' was spamming for three weeks straight about "his 3 year investigation" and that posting the stuff he found "could have him killed". What's nice is that those who participate (majority) know crap when they see it.

I just wanna know: Is Jesi single? :D

Alex, you stole my thunder. Jesi is a hottie, certainly better looking than any female Denier. I guess Judy Wood might be their prom queen! Ah, scary monsters!

This is refreshing from another point. Despite their delusions, the Deniers are a tiny minority among the public at large but they are a force on blogosphere, largely because most people know 9/11 was carried about by Islamic militants and don't want to get into a debate with people they consider kooks, so they are largely silent on the debate. When you separate out the silent majority, of the remainder you get a sizeable chunk of drooling moron Deniers who are unemployed living in their mom's basement spanking the monkey and drawing a welfare or disability check. These people have nothing better to do that troll the internet saying "Aha, Yahoo is in on it too!". They descend on comment pages on mainstream sites in droves such that it leaves the impression they are a group to be reckoned with.

It is nice to have blogs such as this and the Yahoo site, among a growing list of others that stand in contrast the fruitcake brigade.

I am afraid, BG, you will have to add in Google to the list of "conspirators". I can confirm that there was a posting on the old LC Forum where Sylan and Jason were upset because Google was manipulating their position on the top 100, by manipulating the download numbers.

So, LC crew, at least, feel Google is on it also.

Hah. You're quite the spin doctor, aren't you?

Some proves you wrong, so you attempt to spin it to your favor. I mean, really, you speak as if no one had ever heard of Yahoo! Video before Manny posted the link. Apparently you haven't, but I just that as further proof that you exist in a world all your own.
