More On the Scientific Method

Spooked is at it again with the chicken wire. As I said, these people are beyond parody. Remember, this is the guy Morgan Reynolds praised for his research.

Wasn't there a great video of a model WTC built out of playing cards and CD cases?

Yes. Reenacting a disaster that killed thousands of people. Great fun indeed!

I'm glad you see a collapsing Tower as entertainment; I think the rest of us see it as a tragedy.

Democrat, great experiment! Kudos for taking the time and effort.

One note, is there any reason why you didn't put reinforced floors throughout your model?

Using Chicken wire in place of structural steel. Real good job there at actually recreating the senario.

[/sarcasm]

So lets see Lavoisie you see a paper tower collapsing as a tragedy and you want to apply that to democrat and his feelings about the WTC towers?

And if he wanted to renact the tragedy, we would have seen puffs of smoke and explosions going off at the base of the tower.

Maybe that would have gotten you that total collapse you were looking for Demo or at least a spectacular fire!

LOL! Oh good lord, these guys have gone too far.

Oh come on Swing, don't obfuscate the issue. You know exactly what I meant. Typical CT crap.

Could you imagine the CT reactions if NIST or any other agency used chicken wire and construction paper to "test" what happened that day?

Only in the mind of a CTer does one person with access to a kindergarten classroom and a shoddy understanding of physics trump, ya know.... ACTUAL scientists.

Wait - do you mean to tell me that the World Trade Center WAS NOT made out of chicken wire?

Holy crap, Batman! This be news to me!

Woohoo 9/11 Truth!

They fight for truth! Egos do not get in the way, because all they care about is truth! Not money! Or fame! But truth!

Looks like LC has gone into uber-paranoid mode.

Heh. As opposed to JREF, which seems to have gone into its all-too-frequent "uber-broken" mode. ;)

I'm suprised that no one has tried to fly a rc-plane into their "tower." That is how it happened in real life right?

Not to mention, how are you going to make it a scale model in the weight department?

I still say the Gremlin Demolition Theory is the most likely explanation. It's the only model that fits!

Hey no one has a right to critique Democrats experiment unless you are an expert in structural engineeering or controlled demolition and write a rebuttal that is peer reviewed. Isn't that how it works here?

No, swing, that's what one does when the initial report itself is done by experts. When the initial report is done by someone with the intellect of an eight-year-old with Down's Syndrome one simply points and laughs. Unless the person is actually affilicted with Down's, in which case one is exceedingly polite but still doesn't take it seriously.

Yep. Now, Democrat, Bill, and Swinger...if you guys are really nice, I'll let you have some juice and cookies.

Wow, Manny and Alex, I know we have had our disagreements, but I never thought you guys would make fun of Down's syndrome. That is new low is it not?

Spooky just couldn't figure out how to build a little tiny holographic paper plane.

Spooky writes, on his blog:

I could get the tower top to lean over if I pulled on it VERY HARD:

and

but I could tilt the tower on the other side of the "plane damage" more easily.

I wonder what real-world force this is supposed to simulate? In all the excitement, I don't remember seeing Godzilla battling King Ghidorah on Wall St. Maybe the controlled media censored it.
