Nutbar Awards 2006
A website called Digital Style Designs has a "Best of 9-11 Denial Media 2006" awards page. It's garbage on a straight level, but get some of the award winners:
Best Treasure Trove of Essays
• Journal of 9-11 Studies
• 9-11 Research Essay Section
JONES is a joke; it's Steven Jones' vanity publication. And 9-11 Research's essay section is a mixed bag; while it does debunk the No 757 at the Pentagon quite well and points out numerous flaws in Loose Change, it also claims to debunk the Popular Mechanics and Scientific American articles on the 9-11 Deniers. Of course, if you read the articles that purport to do this, they're mostly made up of "No True 9-11 Denier" arguments--that no true 9-11 Denier believes in the pod theory, or no plane at the Pentagon, or that the towers collapsed because of melted steel.
And get this:
Most Couragous Celebrity Citizen
Charlie Sheen
Well, if you define courage as beating up your wife and trying to keep your kids from getting innoculations against major diseases....
It's interesting if only because almost none of the major figures that we see and hear about in the 9-11 Denial Movement are mentioned; there are no awards for Jim Fetzer, Kevin Barrett, Dylan Avery, etc. I've been following 9-11 Denial for about 8 months now on a daily basis and these are people I've never heard of:
Eric Douglas, Michael Green, Janette MacKinlay, Jenna Orkin, Steve Cassily, Bonnie Faulkner, Michael Wolsey. It may be because they are doing relatively reasonable stuff compared to the freak show we cover around here. But that just proves one of my points about conspiracy theories: Bad CTs drive out (relatively) good CTs.

Ya, I notice under most promising new development, thought, they have the new "Scholars for 9/11 Truth & Justice", which is apparently going to be the off shoot from the original "Scholars".
See they have the nuts there, just dig through the raisins and appricot pieces.

"No True 9-11 Denier" arguments
I might have to always refer to No True Scotsman as that from now on.
Most Couragous Celebrity Citizen
Charlie Sheen.
Most courageous, how? How many hookers he picked up this past year? How many times he smacked his soon-to-be ex-wife?
Somehow, the words "Charlie Sheen" and "courageous" don't seem to come together in the same universe, much less the same sentence.
Perhaps "biggest asshole" or "most incredible fool."
Well when you consider the typical movement of a truther is the "slouched over, Hunchback/Kyphotic Scuff of the feet" walk reminicent of every basement computer hermit, a man as animated as yourself Mark, is a site for them to behold. To them, you are a body language god.

Man, I never realized the Journal of 9-11 Studies spells out JONES.
Ego Trip? I'm just asking questions.
As usual attack the person and not the arguement....really is that all you got.

As usual another pea brain with a pre-disposition to believing gossip and rumour....your statement is cowardly and prejudice...should you by chance bump into Mr Sheen you should ask if what the trashy press write is true. (it seems that's all you read) but you wouldn't have the guts to do that would you little man.
Again Pat "Well, if you define courage as beating up your wife and trying to keep your kids from getting innoculations against major diseases...."
Little people with little brains...Pat you carry on like you know it all, yet you haven't studied the affects of vaccines on little children. I hope you have some and inoculate them, it may be the end of your kind. (we can only hope) and it seems tabloid trash is all you read as well...good luck posting a decent arguement.
