Amazing, virtually everyone agrees with them but none of their candidates can win an election. Wasn't Mathew Horton Woodson a candidate for Congress in a Tulsa district? What did he get? 2%. Maybe their editing is a bit selective.

I wonder what the taxpayers who pay the taxes to support this college think of their tax dollars being wasted to peddle this crap.

That college should lock up its lab experiments more securely. But I do comment their idea to outfit them in similar attire, so they can easily be spotted in case of escape.

I would like schools to teach facts not anti-American delusional fantasies. Btw, aren't you the religious nut? Based on your statement, I must asume you would approve of schools teaching that religion sucks, Christ was a child molester and atheism is the the way to go.

No, but we are smart enough to know that television viewing or service providers for said television viewing does not equal intelligence or social standing.

I know. You can buy a T.V for $30 or a big one for about $100. The LCD's are more expensive though. But I think T.V.'s stopped being a status symbol in the early 1950's. Cable was new in about 1978-1981 with the pay for view package known as "Preview." So, I'm with you on that. However, if we are to examine the media and their reactions to certain events, we should at least be attuned to what is on the television in terms of mainstream news. If you don't watch TV for the mainstream news, and you don't think Alex Jones et al is an alternative view worth viewing, then how can you make judgments regarding the dissemination of the news. If you are only relying on "The Stars and Stripes" and government issued press releases, or some form of twisted atheist osmosis, then you do not have a leg to stand on, chap.

These young fellows are at least giving it a good show. They are standing up for something they believe in. They are at least exercising their right to free speech, despite your atheist admonishment. Let's see you put yourselves out there.

Also, at least that jovial, eccentric, fiery fellow, Mark Roberts does put himself out there (so to speak)and let his opinion be known (or at least is the mouth piece for others).

Do the same or cut these guys some slack. They are not cowardly like that anonymous (supposedly) author of Debunking 911 Conspiracy. His (or more likely their) reputation and conspiracy theories are worth much less, as the actual author can never be adequately sourced, interviewed, or even spoken to. This is a disservice to the atheist underlings, and intelligent investigators alike.

BFD. No one is claiming they can't speak their minds, however, if I were a student in class I wouldn't want them wasting my time with their drivel. You seem to assume they are above criticism. They are not.

This is a college, not toastmasters. If they were my kids and barged in lauding the 911 Commission Report(which I support), I'd be upset. Those students are there for the class at hand; there are other avenues to express their opinions.

They are not courageous...they are stupid, rebellious teens/twenty somethings who think it is cool to protest "the man". There is nothing more to it IMO.

To be honest, I actually paid attention in my university classes, and enjoyed the vast majority of what was taught...but I guess that is why I am where I am in life. I would have had no time for these idiotic Shaite disturbers. Trouble is, the vast majority of people who go to college, don't know why they are there or what they want to do...which is why I am sure they welcomed the disruption.

My good Alex, it is just random distribution. Never forget that most sane people avoid CTers. Among the population at large, we are the majority, however, among those who discuss conspiracy theories there will always be more CTers than Debunkers.

Amazingly, all I hear from the CTs is how their movement is growing and 84% of Americans support them, but there is no empirical evidence. I am on a trip with 23 other college students, so we talk alot about our interests, so people have been asking about my blog.

Out of the 24 of us, not a single one supports the conspiracy theorists, and this is out of a population of graduate students from Seattle, not exactly the most extreme right wing demographic you will find. In fact a few of them are asking why I am wasting my time even acknowledging the existence of these nutjobs.

Well, catch you all later.

""These young fellows are at least giving it a good show. They are standing up for something they believe in. They are at least exercising their right to free speech, despite your atheist admonishment. Let's see you put yourselves out there."

The KKK was standing up for something they believe in and like the KKK I would never try and prevent them from making their views known. I know that like the KKK when the truthers speak they only make themselves look stupid.

I got to thinking what exactly drives the 911 Truth crackpots? They see themselves as the only bearers of the light of truth and they do it with such Messianic zeal. It’s a religion to them and anyone who does not believe is a heathen, an infidel or the evil atheist tempestuous like to call us. To the true believer thousands of co-conspirators were involved in the plot and it cover-up, These truthers have such a low regard for their fellow man they believe people would actually engage in the evil henchman shit you see in movies an TV. I Got news for you, that sort of stuff is not real.

Think I am a conservative? Well you would be wrong. I come from the view that conservatives are just old white guys who lack the imagination to accept change, there is NOTHING in the conservative view I see as viable. I am proud to be called a liberal BUT…. This 911 conspiracy crap is not the thinking of the intelligent liberal but is the fuzzy mind set of the “lowlife leftist” “The Liberal Rednecks”

You know the type? They embrace the progressive movement NOT because they understand what it is to be truly liberal and to have respect for the basic goodness of your fellow man, to look forward and not back. But because they are for the most part useless members of society. Unskilled and low of intelligence truthers blame “The Man” “The WTO” or “The New World Order” for their lot in life, “The only job I can get is making lattes at Starbuck for minimum wage, it’s all Bush’s fault”. Rather then lift themselves up they want to drag everybody else down to their level. These same guys embrace socialism because they get to live off the skill and imagination of others.

The lowlife leftist will reads lots of the standard liberal rags but would never take the intellectual step of filtering what they read and dismissing some of it as pure bullshit, It would not be cool to doubt the teaching of the heros of the revolution, all of it is inhaled and held as sacred scripture. Amen.

With the 911 truth thing truthers have a way of kidding themselves into thinking they are really doing something important, Got the black “Investigate 911″ t-shirt and hat, Went downtown and marched and shouted all the appropriate slogans, then….. Then…. it’s back to Starbucks. It’s all just conspiratorial masturbation. Quite Sad.

I have no problem putting myself on the line getting in their faces even if it's not politically correct, Meet one of these losers in person and it’s like taking candy from a baby, it almost makes you feel bad to ruin their dreams. If you are the least bit informed it is an easy proposition to poke holes in their conspiracy delusions. Most of the time this just sends them off, fingers in ears, they don’t want the informed liberal thinker, the so called truth movement wants the true believer.

You seem to forget the much larger picture that your fellow American shed their blood and died for.
Your constitution is in tatters and hearts of the believers in the America the brave are broken.
The truthers may at times stumble over disinformation but the essence of the message lives on.
Governments are corrupt and are involved in covert operations, most won't ever accept that the shock and awe of 911 could have been instigated or helped by the Government.

Bullshit, don't give me that holier than thou crap. How many people on the truther side have faked military service? You don't even know the meaning of the word dedication.

Your constitution is in tatters and hearts of the believers in the America the brave are broken.

Really? What part of the constitution would that be? There must be some hidden part of the constitution I'm not aware of.

The truthers may at times stumble over disinformation but the essence of the message lives on.

Not disinformation, just idiocy. It doesn't matter what you believe as long it paints the government in a bad light, right?

Governments are corrupt and are involved in covert operations, most won't ever accept that the shock and awe of 911 could have been instigated or helped by the Government.

Wrong, people within governments are corrupt, not the institutions themselves. Last time I checked there were several investigations into 9/11.

You admit that you accept change like the lamb to the slaughter and off you go without so much as a whimper.

No he admits to accepting change based on a general care for humanity as well as the need to progress as a society. Damn your reading comprehension sucks.

You are led by the nose into a world where the change is not for the better.

Based on what? How do you quantify better or worse? Humanities progress has been pretty damn good in my opinion. Sorry were not up to your high standards yet ;)

Thousand of our innocent countrymen are held in camps without charge or trial, our freedoms have been taken from us all under the guise that someone hates our freedom therefore lets not have any for them to take away, laughable.

Care to back that up with evidence?

At least someone is doing something about it.
What are you doing, sitting on your arse thinking you have posted something of value to a captive audience...this is a cowards view of the world.

Well, what the hell are you doing? Last time I checked your posting on this blog to. It's hard for me to express how upset I get when I hear that some political figure has accepted a bribe or some other morally questionable activity. I don't lash out at the government, I just get angry at that individual. If I honestly believed that the United States government either by purposeful action or inaction allowed 9/11 to come to fruition I would be both simultaneously terrified and enraged. I would leave the country and make it my life's purpose to gather the evidence necessary to bring justice to who deserves it. I wouldn't rest until every news agency and enforcing body knew about it. Is that what you do? I doubt it. You have your little bullshit marches and you waste your time on blogs spewing the same old debunked crap. You don't really care about truth or justice, you just want to fight "the man." You sir, are a coward.

Paul. It seems to me it is the truthers who tatter the constitution by accusing members of the “big bad government” of crimes. Remember the government is people, some bad (like Bush) but most good. But you lump them all together and accuse, based on disinformation that the truthers have a habit of creating out of whole cloth, like the “Pull It” thing. The witch hunt mentality of the truthers certainly does not honor the concept of individual rights. You can wrap ourself in the flag all you want and the dullards in the truth movement may buy it, but people like me know a scam when we see it.

What’s the matter Paul? You Mad cause I got you and your band of so called “freedom fighters” pegged for what you are, hateful little men not smart enough to understand simple facts. The overthrow of a government should be the LAST resort, yet these idiots offer it as a solution to a problem that they don't even have any evidence of.

They want to overthrow one of the most liberal-democratic governments in the world, to take over some of the most successful corporations ever to exist, and to reorganize the most prosperous nation in history, AND they want the American people to spend their lives in the hundreds of thousands while doing this, all on the say-so of lunatics like Alex Jones, James Fetzer, and Judy Wood.

The whole proposition is so ludicrous that only idiots, lunatics, and academics could ever give it even a cursory consideration.

At 21 March, 2007 01:35, Blogger Der Bruno Stroszek said...

Heh, I like that "...and academics". I am reminded, at times like this, of that terrific George Orwell quote: "There are certain things one has to be an intellectual to believe, since no ordinary man could be so stupid."

Not, of course, that Barrett, Wood and their ilk are intellectuals, but they are academics, and it is true that most ordinary people couldn't come up with something as stupid as Wood's Keebler Elves analogy or Barrett's false-flag suicide bombers theory on their own steam.
