Moron Truther Sources
Since they can't rely on the "mainstream media", apparently every legitimate newspaper in the world is run out of Dick Cheney's basement, the 9/11 conspiracy theorists have to turn to, uhh, shall we say, "alternative" media. Two posts just made today on 911 Blogger display that well. The first is an editorial from the English website of "Pravda", which as we discussed earlier, has actually managed the incredible feat of going further downhill since it served as the propaganda mouthpiece of the Soviet Communist Party.
The second, is a recording of a phone call to "The National Enquirer", which probably violates wiretapping laws, in which our truther hero angrily asks why they didn't run with a story on Rosie O'Donnell like he requested. Of course if they had done an article which did anything buty fawned over her, they would have been added to the list of corporate media shills.

Just because GE does profit from the war, and yes the mainstream media's journalism has become increasingly worse since the beginning of media consolidation, doesn't suddenly make alternative media accurate. There is all kinds of worthless shit that passes for "alternative media" these days.

Yes, truly the measure of all freedom is ridiculous rants on rense.com about how the Illuminati are putting Jews in our tap water or something. I agree that it's the mark of a free society that such nonsense is allowed to be spoken, but get over yourselves - you're not the most important factor in ascertaining free speech.
