She has embraced the insane theory that 9/11 was an “inside job.” She has apparently bought into the notion that elements inside the U.S. killed Americans on that terrible day. This kind of garbage is peddled on the Internet by America haters, and has been debunked step by step by Popular Mechanics magazine, which has actually published a book on the subject.
Of course, Rosie has actually carefully avoided specifically stating whodunnit; so far she's still doing the Jack Webb, just asking questions, ma'am, routine.
After the Trump brouhaha, ratings for “The View” declined drastically, although they are still up year to year. But now with the 9/11 conspiracy and sympathy for Iran in play, it may be just a matter of time before the bottom drops out of the program.
Launching personal attacks on Donald Trump is one thing. Accusing your country of trumping up 9/11 and committing war crimes is quite something else. Rosie O’Donnell has cast her fate to an ill wind. Nothing good will come of this.

Hum. Here's where I have some expertise. Phone company records are kept on super secure mainframe systems and billing is a result. It's pretty implausible to "fake" phone records although it can be done with the correct insider editing the data set and batch job on the particular billing cycle. However, to get a "temp" employee to access sensitive data such as this pretty unlikely. In fact, the security surrounding mainframe systems makes tapering with the date pretty impossible. Even the people that work with the data are restricted from make record by record changes.
So yes, lack of billing trails from supposed phone calls on that day is a huge indicator that the calls were not authentic. There are also stories that the air-phone calls show no credit card trails as well. Insert the same security methods as above for credit card billing systems who are probably 100x more secure and tamper proof.

Clueless as charged. I'm familiar with this particular story but have heard of cases where these "secure servers" are machines tied to the internet to facillitate customers loggin in and accessing their accounts. Billing systems are ALWAYS separated from these machines physically. This means, there are no connections and data is shared by these systems via magnetic or optical devices.
Again, billing systems are NOT tied to the internet, EVER. It's a security mechanism. When was the last time you heard criminal hackers altering billing information? Stealing CC numbers is not too difficult with correct knowledge of the system tied to the public networks. Changing datasets destined for billing/printing is a different world all together.

1. It's easy to steal CC info from servers, they are not really "secure" if you have the correct "keys"
2. Mainframe systems are not tied to any network. They are stand alone and the lifeblood of any enterprise system. You CANNOT easily alter information there without many people seeing it. This prevent even employee embezzelment and other releated insider cirmes. See how hard it would be to change billing info?
3. The phone calls were fake, no doubt about that. The calls were either coersed from the people in question or were pre-recorded. Although a bit wacky and elaborate, voice morphing is a possibility, but I've concluded there was not enough time to set something like this up.
4. Court records come from the "investigators" of the investigating authority. How many time have individuals been freed because it was later found out that the court evidence was inaccurate and in some instances, FABRICATED?

Okay, let's say the government wanted to add fake phone calls to customer records, how exactly would they do it after the fact? Since these systems probably record ever transaction on a remote data set, they first have to identify what that data set is and where to locate it and where to alter it and exactly at what time. I'm certain none of you are familiar with this process but it just cannot be done as easy as punching a few digits on a terminal.
Furthermore, since the datasets will now have a different time stamp as when the update occurred not in conjunction with whatever auditing system is in use, the dataset will be marked for inspection and/or may fail the job that process the batch.
Systems tied to the Internet undergo many layers of inspection and debugging before the data is allowed to get into the mainframe and process the billing and then company accounting. I agree with you that political correctness and fear of violent reprisal has stopped people from speaking out against certain branches of Islam but Christianity is no "religion of peace" either. It's true that Islam is going through a very violent phase but then it is a younger religion than Christianity which has already gone through some extremely violent phases and has now become more in general become more moderate.
We will continue to have religiously motivated violence and intolerance as long as we live in a world where blindly believing in something despite a lack of evidence(or even evidence to contrary) is seen as a something to be respected or even admired.

You could say the same thing about westenr culture. Alexandria was a true wonder of the world. Their understanding of science and medicine was on par with what we knew in the late 1800's.
