Reality Continues to Crash In at 9-11 Blogger

Any doubt that the 9-11 Truth Movement is starting to smell like a week-old clove of garlic in the sink should be over by now, but I never tire of fresh evidence. As you probably know, interest in the Troofers tends to peak a bit in September and then subside. In 2008 that did not change, but the extent did. After month over month August to September jumps of 34% in 2006 and 36% in 2007, the traffic at 9-11 Flogger only increased by 11% in September 2008 over the prior month. And in October things got even worse. Traffic at 9-11 Blogger was down to 142,838 last month. That's the lowest total over there since June 2006 (excluding March 2008, when Sitemeter was delaying page loads, and many blogs, including 9-11 Blogger disabled it). Year over year the decline from October 2007 is 39%.

BTW, I usually close these posts by noting that yes, indeed our traffic too is declining. But I can't do that this time around. Our traffic in October was down a little bit compared to 2007, but only off about 7% to 44,356 or about 1500 per day. In fact, I used to have a general rule of thumb that we'd get about 1/5th to 1/6th the traffic over at 9-11 Blogger, but that's also ceased to be the case. The last four months we've been between 1/4th and 1/5th of their traffic, but this month we were almost 1/3rd.

So it looks like people are tiring of 9-11 Truth, but not tiring of laughing at the Troofers. And, strange as it seems, neither am I.
