There were no visible or audible explosions on those 8 floors, so controlled demolition doesn't explain anything.

This is elephant in the room. The 'truth' movement has never established an alternative version of the events on 9/11. Instead they feed on minor inconsistencies, quote-mining, and the odd self-interested 'witness' to try and create doubt and confusion, and they aren't very good at even doing that.
