WAQo, no I am not calling Carol a liar. She expressed an opinion about what she believed to be my attitude. She did not complain that I did anything to wreck her marriage, and in fact I did quite the opposite. I was interested in protecting her credibility as an activist and her image as a candidate, and her status as a happily-married supermom-activist was part of that.
