Another Member of the Conspiracy Revealed

Thanks to those crack sleuths at Democratic Underground, we learn that former Senator Max Cleland, Democrat of Georgia, is helping the Bush Administration with the coverup.

Here are some excerpts from General Myers' testimony at his Joint Chiefs of Staff Senate confirmation hearing on 9/13/01, just two days after 9/11. Note how Senator Max Cleland enters the "discussion" with an out-of-the-blue non-question non sequitur to keep any of the other Senators from questioning General Myers' ridiculously shaky alibi.

Check out the responses to the post, as well:

I was disappointed by Cleland here, too... He was one of the good guys, I had thought. He also seemed fine with the "surprising" upset in his re-election. Hmmmm

That's because he values life above all else, and his life, despite his terrible physical problems, isn't so bad, all things considered. I'm sure he lives far better than 99% of other casualties of the Vietnam War.

I'm willing to bet 99% of the Vietnam casualties who survived were able to keep more than A limb.

There really is no shame with these people.
