In Which I Agree With Dylan

Dylan posted on this over at the Looser Forum. Dan Wallace, a young (23) NYC Truther, apparently died in his bed a week or so ago. His father was FDNY and lost his life in the WTC rescue operation, so his family has been devastated twice in only a few years, and our sympathy goes out to them.

Now I don't know the cause of Dan's death, but Dylan and others who knew the young man are convinced that it was not foul play and in this instance I'll take their word for it. However, this does not stop Holocaust Denier Eric Hufschmid from using the tragedy for his own purposes:

Considering those particular "truth seekers" lie about Zionism, why should we believe their explanation for his death?

We would be fools not to consider that this was a murder by Zionists.

If it was a murder, it shows what happens when you are too stupid to know who to trust.

Back to Dylan:

Eric Hufschmid should be completely extricated from the 9/11 Movement, and his cohort Daryl Bradford Smith should join him. This is the absolute lowest thing I believe I could ever see.

I agree with Dylan on this whole-heartedly.

In typical Hufschmid fashion, Eric rambles all over the place, even getting into the 9-11 Accountability Conference and mentioning me by name:

Is Williams really a "Holocaust Denier"?

The evidence suggests that Williams is a Zionist pretending to be a Holocaust Denier, and that Pat Curley is also a Zionist who is trying to give Williams credibility as a Holocaust Denier.

The other people who complain that Williams is a Holocaust denier are also likely to be Zionists.

Me? A Zionist? How absurd!

By the way, my new PR packet just came back from the photographer. What do you think of my picture?

Update: Rob in the comments points out that Eric Hufschmid himself has been accused of being a Zionist. Oh, the paranoia!

Hufschmid is completely out of line and paranoid.

Doesn't matter if the guy was a 'truther', believer in JFK conspiracies or convinced that the government siphons blood from donors for alien research; there's a person died in a family that's already suffered and unless someone is going to offer sympathy or condolence, they shouldn't bother to contribute anything.

Can we please just ban bg already? I know Pat and James are trying to be fair and give everybody a voice here, but bg has no ideas of his own. I don't know what is driving this relentless barrage of off-topic links, but I do know that he has nothing original to say and that he is apparently posting links on a vastly more popular website than his own, ostensibly because no one with a working pair of eyes would go back to his blog after seeing that trainwreck. Here's a hint--THEY GIVE YOU TEMPLATES FOR A REASON.

My point is, we won't be silencing anybody's viewpoint because he doesn't have one to speak of. He is a passive-aggressive troll and his unoriginal brand of smug self-righteousness and his refusal to participate does nobody any good.

I give you credit for a well-thought out and well-stated argument.

I appreciate the constructive criticism on my Blog: Giltner Review, which does indeed need a better template.

Troy,

Thanks for my very own recorded "koo koo, fruit loop" audio message, on Valentines Day no less.

I'd link audio to it, but it seems identical to your other renditions.

Can I call you at the number of the caller id?

When's a good time to call?

When are you going to start a blog, or maybe just join gather.com?

Pat,

Thank you very much for posting this. No matter how people on either side (Loose Change vs. Screw Loose Change), this was a pure act of cowardice on Eric's part. His family has had to deal with enough, and I don't think they need some anti-semitic egghead running around and defaming the kid.

I'd love to believe that the forum members' revulsion towards Hufschmidt's kneejerk allegation of conspiracy is a sign of them developing some kind of emotional maturity, but Alex Jones and several other Loosers did exactly the same thing when Wendy Burlingame died. They only care when it's one of their own - everyone else is fair game.
