Yet Another Conference
On his blog Dylan Avery mentions they are taking a road trip out to California. Apparently this is in connection with bringing Loose Change: The Fourth Lame Attempt at the Truth, to the masses. He mentions that they are attending another conspiracy theory conference titled "2007 Freedom and Justice Conference" at the Freedom Law School, which despite the name is not an actual law school, but appears to be a business which will teach you creative ways to avoid paying income taxes.
Aside from truthers like the Loose Change boys, Kevin Barrett, and Steven Jones, many of the speakers are making presentations with interesting titles like:
Is the Income Tax based on Fraud?
Can you live FREE of IRS fear and tyranny?
Is the IRS lying and defrauding the American people?
As they say, it is all about the money. You can buy tickets to this conference for only $50 at the door!

Why does this sound like something Matthew Lesko would endorse?
What is next, a resurfacing of the militia movement?
I got into a "debate" online w/ one of those IRS-is-a-fraud types and boy, do the conspiracy folks ever like to follow the same script.
Them and the Loose Change folks should get along swimmingly.
Quatloos.com is the Internet's best resource for information on tax protestors. In particular, read up on Joe Banister and Peymon Mottahedeh.
There is also Dan Evans' FAQ, which explains why various popular tax protestor arguments are wrong.
And yeah, it's not surprising that the Twoofers and the TPs are getting along well. They're birds of a feather. They believe what they want to believe, and continue claiming their questions haven't been answered.
Yay! Road Trip! I love being on a road trip with the guys!
Maybe we'll see a UFO or something!
so, one of you guys going there too to ask questions about Holocaust-denial ?
Like hey man, I mean, The Parliament screening IS going on, so stop e-mailing me to tell me it's cancelled.
