Mr Deets Goes To Town

Dwain Deets, one of the geese in Gage's gaggle, has launched a site called 7 Problems with Building 7. It's about as bad as you might expect. Problem 1:

No plane struck the 47-story World Trade Center skyscraper (Building 7). More on no plane.

Ooooh, mysterious! No plane struck St. Nick's cathedral either. Or, you know, WTC 3, 4, 5, or 6. And it doesn't get better; check out #2:

No evidence of fires in Building 7 for the first 100 minutes after being struck by debris from Tower 1. (Yet fire from the debris is the official explanation for building collapse.)

No evidence? These retards continually refer to the eyewitness testimony about "explosions", but the minute we talk about WTC-7, suddenly they are not interested in what the firefighters saw.

Or #4:

No mainstream media covered the building collapse other than that first day, when Dan Rather said on network TV, "For the third time today, it's reminiscent of those pictures we've all seen too much... when a building was deliberately destroyed by well-placed dynamite to knock it down."

Key word in there: Reminiscent. As usual, the Troofers are unable to recognize analogies when they see them.

"No mainstream media covered the building collapse" ?
Wha?
One of many media videos showing WTC7 collapsing has been re-run gazillions of times by moron troofers themselves.

How about the BBC Report that erroneously said Building 7 had collapsed, minutes before it did, used by the troofers as evidence of a worldwide conspiracy of media?

So item #6 is that the mysterious piece of metal wasn't in a report, and item #7 is that the mysterious piece of metal wasn't in some other report. Sheesh, after nine years you'd think these idiots could manage a list of 7 items without duplication.

Building 7 took 6.5 seconds to collapse?

Really? No kidding?

Then perhaps Dwain Deets can explain why 9 seconds elapsed between the collapse of the east penthouse, and the failure of the North parapet wall.

FACT: Building 7 didn't collapse in 6.5 seconds, as Dwain Deets would have us believe. On the contrary, building 7 collapsed in excess of 18 seconds.

Pat, Mr. Deets said "No evidence of fires in Building 7 for the first 100 minutes." Your response did not address the 100-minute issue, but only provided evidence of fires. Very sloppy.

Anon, Mr. Deets said "No mainstream media covered the building collapse other than that first day." Your comment did not address the first-day issue.

Of course you didn't watch the video, because troofers have an aversion to evidence that proves they're wrong.

The culture of the unknown rehearses the representational validity of history as such, but modern reinterpretation of the relationship between the culture of the unknown and the representational validity of history as such is sure to be widely imitated. A lengthy exploration of the relationship between the sublimation of the real and the fantasy of the unspoken is a crucial contribution to the field. The logic of the marginal is closely allied with the de-eroticization of narrative authenticity

For the benefit of Arseholie, and other like-minded individuals, I give you the following.

WALTING 101: A BRIEF GUIDE TO INDULGING IN YOUR FANTASIES ONLINE.

Introduction.

The world-wide web gives losers and failures across the globe (the 'Walter Mittys' amongst us) a great opportunity to embellish or reinvent their lives, allowing misfits and rejects the chance to pretend that they're not complete and utter wankers who - if they possessed an ounce of self-awareness - would throw themselves from the nearest cliff.

However, walting is a delicate art, and there's a clear risk that the online fantasist may end up inventing an obviously fake persona which real people will recognise as false, inviting ridicule in the process. The following rules are designed as guidance, so that sad-cases everywhere can Walt with confidence.

Walts of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose, but your virginity!

At 20 July, 2010 01:29, Anonymous sackcloth and ashes said...

PART I: CHOOSING THE NEW YOU.

This requires a certain degree of common sense, but for those who lack it, here's some top tips.

(1) Don't say you're ex-special forces - Oh, pur-leeze. This has been done to death. The planet is full of run-down pubs, doss-houses, homeless shelters and libraries chock full of soap-dodgers who keep telling anyone who seems to listen that they were Green Berets in Vietnam/Iraq/Afghanistan etc. This is old news, and you make yourself look like more of an idiot if - like 'A Real Veteran' - you then claim that you can't talk about anything you did. If OPSEC is an issue, then why admit that you're ex-SF? A real operator wouldn't do this.

(2) Be realistic - If you have the typing skills of a chimp, you're going to have great difficulty convincing anyone that you're not an escaped mental patient. Walting is not for you, my friend. Schizophrenia is.

(3) Stick to one name - When you're online, if you post under multiple names (known as 'sock puppets'), it becomes blatantly obvious to everyone else online that you're reduced to inventing imaginary allies to back you up and support your BS. If you had the talent to create a range of different characters with distinct personas and styles of expression, you'd be a successful novelist or a screen-writer, and you wouldn't be reduced to telling lies about your life. But you're not, so leave the sock-puppets in the drawer.

At 20 July, 2010 01:34, Anonymous sackcloth and ashes said...

PART II: DO YOUR HOMEWORK.

If you are going to assume a fake persona online, then your first step is to find out as much as possible about real, normal people doing the same job, and living the same lifestyle. This may be a challenge, given that it might involve leaving your parents' basement, but it's amazing how much you can do if you use the web for research, rather than masturbating over pornography. Take the following case-study.

(*) One day, a complete retard decided that he'd pass himself off as an Iraq Veteran on a website devoted to debunking the various retarded conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11. His intention was to claim (on a fabricated basis) the moral highground, so that he could accuse fellow posters of being 'chicken-hawks'. Unfortunately, aside from the fact that he claimed to be special forces (naturally), he also failed to check some basic facts about the US military on OIF, such as the length of the average combat tour. His claim to have served 36 months of consecutive operational duty therefore aroused ridicule, and he exposed himself as a fraud.

At 20 July, 2010 01:45, Anonymous sackcloth and ashes said...

A second hazard comes from pretending that you've lived in a foreign country (which in fact you've never visited). In this case, using the internet to try and persuade others that (for example) you lived a wildly fulfiling and exciting life in Britain during the 1990s is a bit futile, if you can't rely on any local knowledge to back your stories up.

(*) Take the example of 'Arhoolie', who decided (in a stupid attempt to humiliate a fellow poster on 'Screw Loose Change') to claim that he'd lived in the UK for three years. In the process, he made the following mistakes:-

(1) 'Arhoolie' could not get his lies straight, and kept contradicting himself in every second post. First he stated that he'd lived in England in 1995, then in 1997. He claimed to have a 15 year old son (born in Southport - of all places - in 1995), and then changed the child into a daughter aged 8. If you're going to make stuff up, then at least make sure it's all consistent.

(2) Again, be realistic. 'Arhoolie' made grand claims about his life in the UK (which included regular partying in 'the West End' of London) without explaining how he was able to sustain such an extravagent lifestyle. You may not have a job in real life, but you may need to invent a source of income online if you're to substantiate your stories.

(3) Your information can be either outdated, or completely inaccurate. The one problem with making claims about living in a foreign country you've never visited is that you may find yourself encountering a citizen of said state. 'Arhoolie' quickly exposed himself as a Walt who's knowledge of life in the UK was based on watching Disney films. He also made dated references to life in the UK in the 1990s (claiming that the locals still listened to punk, that it was possible to fly to Amsterdam from Liverpool for £30) which were clearly based on superficial internet trawling. In this case, he quickly exposed himself as a walt.

The format typically involves two to three minute stories that rely on heavy narration written by a producer or reporter. It’s designed to capsulize a story in a punchy, attention-getting way, emotionally driving an issue home. It tends to contain the following traits (in contrast to documentary style journalism):1. Favors reporter-centered storytelling (rather than using characters’ voices.2. Narration drives the story (rather than action footage)
3. Engages short, emotional narration (rather than narration used to provide information in context)
4. Sensational (rather than thoughtful)
5. B-roll used to illustrate the narration–shooting to script (rather than making the video footage primary and narration secondary)

News-1 a : a report of recent events b : previously unknown information. c: something having a specified influence or effect 2 a : material reported in a newspaper or news periodical or on a newscast b : matter that is newsworthy
3 : newscast

The point? You don't understand the difference between news and a documentary or the elapsed time between the event as news and the event as a documentary. You don't understand the definition of mainstream media. You do understand how to make a total dumbass out of yourself. You do understand that this anyony hands you your ass each time I have to correct your stupid uneducated comments. I would chalk this up to lying but your too stupid to even do that right. You had better stick with your daughter's crayons as your intellect fits that activity quite nicely.

PART III: SUCCESSFUL WALTING.

So you're online, spinning some dits which you either hope will impress others online, or put them in your place. Here are some little tips to help avoid looking like a twat.

(1) Stay away from the military - Unless you've really prepped yourself up, and can drop in some jargon or slang in your posts, best avoid pretending to be a member of any armed force, unless it's a comparatively obscure one.

(2) Stick to the same story - You may be prone to memory loss because of substance abuse; that doesn't mean your audience is. If you're going to make up a story about your past, then at least get your 'facts' (dates, places etc) straight.

(3) Cyber-tourism is a bad idea - Never, ever claim to have spent time in a country or city you only know from internet searches. Chances are you may encounter someone who knows these places like the back of his/her hand, and they'll expose you for what you are. It also helps if your 'narrative' makes sense. For example, saying you visited the UK and spent time in Southport and New Cross makes about as much sense as claiming that you spent time in the USA, and chose to live in Camden NJ and Anchorage AK.

(4) Leave sex out of it - If you're reduced to talking about past wives/girlfriends/sexual conquests (e.g. a fake partner who was a dance student), it tells everyone online that you're not getting any, and - moreover - that you've never had any action.

(5) Stick to one on-line identity - Sockpuppetry is easy to detect on internet forums, and demonstrates your own insecurity and friendlessness. Avoid.

(6) If in doubt, disappear - If you get found out, don't rant like an alcoholic dropout (even if you happen to be one in real life). Just log out, and stay away.

That's all, losers. Just abide by the above, and have fun. Remember - this is the internet. You can be all you can be here.

No Brian Here of course which I understand why you, GB, might think that because you can't understand basic reading nor identify particular writing styles.

GB BBC's programs, including Conspiracy Archives, are aired on local PBS stations across the US (Not to mention the internet).

You mean July 6, 2008 on BBC Two, GB, when it was first aired??
7 years after the news worthy event, it aired on local PBS stations as a documentary, no doubt. You still don't understand the difference between NEWS and a documentary do you? Dam your really fucking stupid, Bill.
Check Deets original quote and you'll find exactly why your wrong yet again, as I've showed you yet again. The best way you can avoid me proving your wrong over and over again is to *drum roll* shut the fuck up.

Rub this off your face, and then please don't respond:
How can I watch BBC Two?
BBC Two is available for free to anyone who has access to digital TV - no subscription is required.
We broadcast daily on Freesat channel 102, Freeview channel 2, Sky Digital channel 102, Tiscali channel 2 and Virgin Media channel 102, as well as directly from the BBC Two website: just click the Watch Live tab above.
From bbc two faq.

Seems your still confused on the meaning of mainstream media. BBC Two of course does not fit the definition of mainstream media in America. You fail yet again, GB. Again, stick the coloring book. Or better yet, the 9/11 Comic Book.

No, you're trying to pass off your opinion as "fact", scumbag.

Grab your ankles, psychopath, because you're about to be reamed again.

Here's the definition of mainstream media--you wanker:

Wikipedia wrote, "..The term mainstream media (MSM) denotes those media disseminated via the largest distribution channels, which therefore represent what the majority of media consumers are likely to encounter. The term also denotes those media generally reflective of the prevailing currents of thought, influence, or activity."

Source: Wikipedia: Mainstream media.

Here's the definition of Public Broadcasting:

Wikipedia wrote, "...The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is an American non-profit public broadcasting television service with 354 member TV stations in the United States which hold collective ownership.[2] However, its operations are largely funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting[citation needed]. Its headquarters are in Arlington, Virginia.

"PBS is the most prominent provider of programming to U.S. public television stations, distributing series such as PBS NewsHour, Masterpiece, and Frontline. Since the mid-2000s, Roper polls commissioned by PBS have consistently placed the service as America's most trusted national institution."

Source: Wikipedia: Public Broadcasting Service.

In addition, anyone can access the BBC Conspiracy Files via the internet at the following URL:

Source: BBC: BBC Conspiracy Files.

Shot down in flames again, psychopath.

Now, go play in the freeway, twit.

And don't forget to sue that JC for malpractice--you tiny-brained wiper of other people's buttocks.

You don't understand the definition of mainstream media in the U.S. From WIKI so even you, GB, can comprehend: "The term mainstream media (MSM) denotes those media disseminated via the largest distribution channels, which therefore represent what the majority of media consumers are likely to encounter."
Does BBC America fit this definition, GB?

Jeezus fucking Christ, that was so stupid it makes my head hurt. And after years of following 9-11 Truthers, I'm thoroughly desensitized to stupid. I don't even keep whiskey by the computer anymore.

For starters, you fucking tool, there is no official definition of "mainstream media." That you think you can prove who is and isn't MSM by citing Wikipedia is yet another example of your intellectual act fooling no one.

Yes, it's debatable whether BBC America is "mainstream media" or not. But more importantly, (a) the BBC does not lower its journalistic standards based on the viewership of an individual channel; (b) the idea that a film clip's use in a documentary somehow discredits it is pathologically stupid; (c) if you're going to declare BBC America "not mainstream media", you can't turn around and say that these things are mainstream media; and (d) you just made up these fucking rules anyway, so who cares?

Now compare news which is what Deets was referring to with a documentary which you linked to.

Oh really?

No mainstream media covered the building collapse other than that first day, when Dan Rather said on network TV

There is no requirement there, or on the linked page, that this MSM coverage of WTC7 has to be "news", as opposed to the twisted misunderstanding of journalistic terms you metastasized from 30 seconds of Googling.

Furthermore, mainstream media does not have to be hard news. Is CNN Presents not mainstream media? Is the Living section of your local paper not mainstream media? Is ESPN not mainstream media?

(By the way, don't answer those questions. They're meant to be rhetorical. Smarter people than you will understand what I'm getting at.)

GB...here we go again Bill your intellect astounds me. Let me educate you a tad bit. I'll just use dictionary.com. It seems you typed in "mainstream media" and the website didn't give you an official definition. And yet again, I have to point out why you, as a debunker, fail in reading comprehension. Lets break down the words "mainstream" and "media" and then we will combine them:
main·stream
–noun 1. the principal or dominant course

in our case, GB,
–adjective
3.belonging to or characteristic of a principal, dominant, or widely accepted group, movement
Hmmmm, GB, what do you think this group might be? Media!
the means of communication, as radio and television, newspapers, and magazines, that reach or influence people wide.

If you put the two words together, what do you get, Billy? Jesus, I feel like I'm talking to a 3rd grader who has been busted trying to cheat, lie, and squirm out of getting into trouble or in this case trying his hardest to prove he is correct in slamming a former Director for Aerospace Projects, NASA Dryden Flight Research Center.

The funny thing is, you and your title, uhh bill the guitar player, is trying his hardest to make Dweets, the "truther" look bad through: relying on a cherry picked sentence, failing to understand the definition of news versus a documentary, and finally stating that a neologism is not an official word because its defined at wikipedia! Please, Bill, give me more of your intellect as cannon fodder.

And now to the rest of you bs...

Sorry Trite, I guess that above post was to you.
Bill failed to show where the BBC documentary was shown nationwide on public television as news.
He did show that the documentary was shown 8 years later. Not quite the definition of mainstream media.
Considering this is a "conservative" blog, lets cite Conservapedia:
Some consider the mainstream media to consist of the following outlets:
Newspapers * The New York Times
* The Washington Post* The Boston Globe
* The Philadelphia Inquirer* The Atlanta Journal-Constitution * The Los Angeles Times* The San Francisco Chronicle* USA Today* The Wall Street Journal[2]* All major, standard-newspaper-format dailies that have existed since before the Fairness Doctrine repeal. News Syndication Agencies * Associated Press * United Press International* Reuters
Television* CBS* NBC* ABC* National Public Radio* Public Broadcasting Service* The Cable News Network* Fox News

Interesting there...BBC in any form is not listed. But Billy will shout, "There is PBS! See, Deets was wrong, he lied, blah, blah." And then I would say, Billy, each PBS station is independenly owned and operated, therefore, just because a documentary aired 8 years after a news worthy event took place, was aired on at least one PBS station, does not mean it was aired on all of them.

Then again, shit tards, you fail at reading comprehension. Deets identifies the examples on his page as "Media" outlets, not mainstream media outlets. He also notes that most of those outlets were outside the U.S., disqualifying them as "mainstream media" outlets.

Now, what you could do is show that U.S. mainstream media outlets did cover the collapse of WTC 7 a few days after the event, then you might have something. Why "days" you say? Because of the title of the segment your attacking. Again, reading comprehension.
Oh, and the platter I'm holding....has your ass on it.

"...Oh, and the platter I'm holding....has your ass on it."

Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back, 'tard.

Again, your vain attempt to elevate worthless opinion to the realm of "fact" fails by every standard.

For example, the following points are indisputable, because the matter has already been settled: [1] the BBC is mainstream media; [2] PBS is mainstream media; [3] the internet is mainstream media, and the overwhelming popularity of the aforementioned media outlets brings the lie to your specious argument.

"...Bill failed to show where the BBC documentary was shown nationwide on public television as news."

False. That's a bald-faced lie. The BBC Conspiracy Files documentary was seen by millions of people worldwide--via the internet and cable television--your petty, condescending prattle notwithstanding.

After wading through your turgid prose, moreover, it's clear, to me at least, that you value condescension over facts. After all, you sound like Uncle Fetzer on crack--and that's hardly a compliment.

If you honestly believe that an obtuse, demented, 100% fact-free, condescension-filled screed trumps cold, hard reality, you're as crazy as you are dishonest and malevolent.

That said, wouldn't you agree that it's fair to say that the time you dedicate to this idiotic prattle is better spent on your favorite pastime--molestation of feckless, adolescent boys?

Incidentally, I'm also impressed to see that your 'girlfriend' - the 'dance student' who spent a 'few months' in the Laban Institute (now just a mere eight weeks by your latest account) - has changed nationality. One your cherry picking shows that you ignored or unaware of the time frame that Deet's was referring to.

You proved Deets right again! You failed to show any coverage of WTC 7 days after the event.

Deets-That the Mainstream Media was silent about the Building 7 collapse provides the backdrop for an occasional breaking of the silence beginning nearly eight years later.

So dumb fuck, those links you posted from Deet's post shows that the silence was broken nearly 8 years later. Thanks for proving his point yet again.

So the internet is now mainstream media? LOL. No the internet is a system of computers that are linked around the globe via various technologies. There are mainstream media outlets that posted web pages for people to read...and there are alternative to MSM outlets that post web pages for people to read.

I've explained to you once using Wiki, that there has to be a majority of people that watch the news on a particular outlet for it to be considered mainstream. Here is some data to suck on instead of offering an opinion statement. This of course doesn't even cover over the air network news programs...

If it's the latter, did Mrs Arseholie mind the fact that you were screwing this wench behind her back (going by your dates, your daughter was born in 2002, and I guess from your time-line that you and Mrs Arseholie had tied the knot before 1999-2000, which is when I think you had your short stay in Holland).

I later discovered that he just renamed it without including a link from the old URL.

The opening argument for problem #4 is now this. The page linked above is now at a new address here.

Honestly, boobs, has there ever been a more obsequious, sick and obsessively demented deconstruction of nothing ever carried out on any blog anywhere? Talk about sociopathic inanity.I know this is the Debunker Cult and it's full of mentally ill dipsomaniacs and animals dropping their children on their heads at Little League games plus Nico Haupt, but this is beyond pitiful.I mean, this is Exhibit A of why mold is a BIG problem when combined with a heavy drinks schedule. The Insane Chappie's probably suing the British social services for his exposure to depleted uranium as we speak! Crikey!

deconstruction of nothing

You know, I think that's the most lucid thing you've ever said. Not that it has a lot of competition, but "deconstruction of nothing" is a rather nice phrase for what we do here.

Walt is telling me to 'get a life'? The man who posed as an OIF veteran, and who's concocted his own bogus family, is calling me a 'sick fuck'?

Go away and romance Mrs Palm and her five daughters, you shitstain. And think about your imaginary dancer girlfriend when you do so.

Remind me when this was again. 1995? 1997?

'turned you into a trembling, apoplectic wreck'

Apoplectic? Do you think I'm upset by the fact that you've been reduced to inventing a fake family and exes, in a vain attempt to convince yourself that someone actually gives a fuck about your sorry self?

'and relegated you to the brine shack, where you blurt out, well what else, jerking off jokes!'

Talking of 'jokes', Walt, I think your fantasising here is an absolute hoot. It makes Jesse MacBeth and Delmart Vreeland look normal.

'Oh well,by their truly hapless desperation shall we know them!! Anything on Shaffer? Yet?'

Yeah, how does he explain the ease in which Mohamed Atta can travel through time and space? Was he using the same time-travel technology that you used for your trips to the UK and Holland in the 1990s?

PS: I'll raise you Rigi for Shaffer. Got any evidence on his links with the CIA yet?

Oh, that's an easy one: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Sure. Just send that to Department of Homeland Security, Suspicious Packages Division, Washington, DC 20528. Be sure to include a current return address.

'let you know when my autobiography is being published!'

Publishers don't print manuscripts written in crayon, Walt. And you can't use 'Diary of a Nobody', 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' or 'My Shit Life So Far'. They've all been taken.

'Happily,I can send you an autographed copy!'

Signed by 'A. Cunt'?

'Which New Cross dive should I send it to?'

You could try mailing it to the address where you lived with your dancer girlfriend (or was it your wife) for two months (or was it more) in 1995 (or was it 1997, or 1998?).
