The article does say that Loser Change cotains, "expert testimony".

Did dumb, dumber, and dumbest add this to one of the versions or am I missing something?

As the saying goes, the problem with America is that 1/3 of the people believe the holocaust was faked, but that professional wrestling is real.

Face it! You're waging a losing battle. Regardless of "Loose Change" a lot of American are waking up and smelling the bullshit. You can post all the mainstream media mentions of your site but the fact remains, a large portion of Americans are waking up and smelling the fascism.

if thats the same scripps howard poll thats been floating around 1/3 refers not only to those who think the govt did, but those who think is "somewhat likely" the allowed it to happen

im sure the number of nessies in there is much lower than 30%

How can that be a problem? That's the truth and that number should be 90% or more! If that were really the case, the Zionist regime would wither on the vine and no longer pose a threat to world peace.

You're the only fascist in here nessie. Your title for that link is misleading.

It should read, "Third of America believes government either was behind 9/11 or allowed it to happen"

And that's still not very shocking, whether it be a third of America believes the conspiracies or half of America is mad at the government. People believe in the JFK conspiracy, people believe the moon landing was a hoax, some believe Clinton was the victim of a vast right-wing conspiracy, yadda, yadda, yadda.

We still have President Bush in office too, and people on both sides of the aisle, all over the country, aren't particualarly fond of him.

So here you are again, posting useless links. If you had any education whatsoever, you'd know that polls can be manipulated and always have a degree of bias in them.

But keep living in your fantasy world, it keeps things interesting here.

Should we give him a call? Holograms? Give me a break.

BTW, those were some slow moving Tomahawks.

Nazinyc,

A piece of advice: it's a good idea to actually read polls before you spout off about them.

The poll you quote can be found here:
http://www.newspolls.org/question.php?question_id=716

Each question had 992-993 respondents.

The relevant questions are:

Question VAR27: There are also accusations being made following the 9/11 terrorist attack. One of these is: People in the federal government either assisted in the 9/11 attacks or took no action to stop the attacks because they wanted to United States to go to war in the Middle East.

Very likely 16%
Somewhat likely 20%
Not likely 59%
Don't know 5%

Question VAR28: The Pentagon was not struck by an airliner captured by terrorists but, instead was hit by a cruise missle fired by the U.S. military.

Very likely 6%
Somewhat likely 6%
Not likely 80%
Don't know 7%
Other response 1%

Question VAR29: The collapse if the twin towers in New York was aided by explosives secretly planted in the two buildings.

Very likely 6%
Somewhat likely 10%
Unlikely 77%
Don't know 6%
Other response 1%

First of all, notice how there are two answers that suggest "yes" and one for "no."

An honest poll would have had an answer set of: Very likely, Somewhat likely, Somewhat unlikely, Very unlikely, Don't know

But anyway...

What is omitted by media reports is that the same poll also asked the following:

Question/VAR25: Officials in the federal government were directly responsible for the assassination of President Kennedy. Is this very likely, somewhat likely, or unlikely?

Very likely 12%
Somewhat likely 28%
Unlikely 51%
Don't Know 9%

Question/VAR 26: The federal government is withholding proof of the existence of intelligent life from others planets?

Very likely 16%
Somewhat likely 22%
Unlikely 54%
Don't know 8%

So....in other words, more people believe in a government role in the JFK assassination and a government coverup of little green men than believe in a 9/11 conspiracy!!!

And we all know what a powerful group the JFK/alien believers are!

Sorry Nazi boy - no more Americans are "waking up" to your 9/11 conspiracy bullshit than have already "woken up" to a whole host of other bullshit.

Sucks, doesn't it?

See, this is your problem. Any evidence against your retarded worldview is either "faked" or "planeted". That's a childish way to look at things (not to mention totally wrong).

Yeah, man, start quoting Kucinich. That'll get you real far.

Here's the part of the poll that Nessie didn't read.

36%—very or somewhat likely that federal officials either participated in or allowed the attacks to happen to justify war in the Middle East

16%—believe preset explosives, not jet fuel, brought the Twin Towers down.

12%—believe the Pentagon was struck by a cruise missile, not Flight 77.

Only 16% believe in the central points of your theory. Less than half what you think it is, Nessie.

16% is kind of a funny poll result. 20 years ago, polls across Canada found that the ruling conservative government had the support of only 16% of the people and that 18% believe that Elvis was still alive.

Here we are 20 years later and guess what, Nessie? Those same conservatives are back in power. Not only that, the Prime Minister of Canada openly sided with Israel during the Lebanon offensive (this has nothing to do with the subject at hand, I only mention it because it hurts Nesnycs feelings to see people side with the jews).

Your 16% isn't going to change anything. In fact, I can garantee that it will drop dramatically once a new president is elected in 2008. Even if it's another republican.

So nesnyc, what's your take on the Carter thing?

I mean, we all know that he died last year, but he seems to be in the media a lot lately?

Is this a CIA actor, like they did with Osama?

I mean, The actor doesn't even look like the real carter did.

I'm a little worried about this, especially since it involves Iran.. What do you think they're up to?

Nessie's comments always remind me of ther Scientologists on USENET back in the 90's. That was about when Scientology had made a play to control certain aspects of internet information access and the like.

The running line of silliness they always used was that Scientology was always 'expanding and expanding'. Always.

Libertarianism

Although I believe the absolutist philosophy is ridiculous (although I agree less government and less restrictions), a Marxist-Leninist shouldn't call any political ideology wacky.

Just sayin'.

At 07 September, 2006 01:47, Blogger JPSlovjanski said...

Marxist-Leninism actually worked under extremely adverse conditions WHEN the leaders of these movements were actually FOLLOWING the ideology. Granted, if you don't follow the instructions, you get a bad product. A lot of this has to do with the problem of WWII, which was out of Stalin's control for the most part.

Libertarianism, by stark contrast, really has never existed in any significant capacity. Ironically, the restoration of capitalism in Russia IS in many ways what "less government" libertarians want, they just don't realize it. The disaster in Russia came from the creation of a capitalist system with virtually no restrictions and no ability for government to intervene in a meaningful way.

The Russia of today is what Libertarianism leads to.
