Good Old NESNYC

Still spreading disinformation over at the Loose Change forum.

3. Northwood was never declassified. The information was obtained through the freedom of information act. We would never have known about Northwoods if this FOIA request was not successful.

Northwoods: A Plan For Terror To Justify War

"an independent non-governmental research institute and library located at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The Archive collects and publishes declassified documents acquired through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). A tax-exempt public charity, the Archive receives no U.S. government funding; its budget is supported by publication royalties and donations from foundations and individuals."

Again! If it wasn't for the FOIA, we would not know about Northwoods.

LMAO! So what are the going to keep marking them "secret" after they've been released?

Unfortunately (for you), you're wrong once again.

Northwoods became public under the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Review Board, not any Freedom of Information Act filing.

Or there's your favorite Wikipedia site.

The previously secret document was originally made public on November 18, 1997 by the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Review Board.

God I hate discrepancies.....

What the hell....

Wait, you mean I can get CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS through the freedom of information act?

Whoa.

That's it, tomorrow I'm requesting a copy of the US nuclear inventory.

In case you haven't figured it out In-Sync, I'm being sarcastic, and you're a moron. Documents have to be declassified before they can be obtained through any official government source. If you make a request through the Freedom of Information Act for a classified document, they'll tell you to go jump off a bridge. The Freedom of Information Act exists for the sole purpose of providing non-classified material to anyone who requests it. It's part of the whole "transparent-government" concept.

No wonder this guy's willing to beleive every conspiracy theory out there. He doesn't have even the most rudementary analytical skills. Probably thinks that there's a conspiracy that hides from us the "fact" that 2+2 really equals 5.
