The Great Debate

Apparently the "scholars" are trying to debate some unspecified representatives of the government's version of things.

The National 9/11 Debate™ is pleased to announce that Philip Berg, James Fetzer, David Ray Griffin, Steven Jones, Morgan Reynolds, George Nelson, and Judy Wood have agreed to participate in the National 9/11 Debate on September 16, 2006 in Charleston, South Carolina. Members of the 9/11 Commission, government scientists from the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and other supporting experts are anticipated to participate and represent the government’s debate team.

No word as to who they are going to debate, or if this event is going to actually take place, or is some staged event that they are using to claim that there is a coverup, like when some fringe candidate from the Socialist Workers Party always complains because they can't debate the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates on nationwide TV. If it does happen, it would be amusing to watch.
