More Nuts

I came across this website through the good offices of Democratic Underground, which is sort of like the Huffington Post for folks who've never been profiled in People.

I haven't explored it a great deal, but this one seems to think the Naudet brothers are in on the plot. There's a riff on "all the coincidences" that had to happen in order for the brothers to get their famous shot of the first plane hitting the North Tower. We've discussed this idiocy before; you cannot take a historical incident and show all the coincidences that led to it and then conclude that it could not have happened because the odds of all those coincidences are astronomical.

BTW, if the Naudets are looking to sue the guy, he says "Bring it on!"

I love how every shot the brothers had in the days leading up to 9/11 in which the Twin Towers appeared is concrete proof of "dramatic foreshadowing"....

Nevermind the fact that they were the largest buildings in New York and also make for a nice backdrop when filming a movie.

That's the best description of DU I've ever come across.

Chad, not to mention that after the fact those were the shots that they were going to highlight in their film since it ended up being on 9-11 and not on the trainee.

Thanks Shawn, I think it characterizes the HuffPo pretty well, too.

How terrible that an American wants to think about something besides sex and food and celebrities.

I'd LOVE to know your train of thought behind that one Joan.

It seems Charles Manson also thought about "something besides sex and food and celebrities".
