McNutty McKinney in Runoff
I have to admit, my political prognosticating skills were off on this one; the only Member of Congress who's seen Loose Change (according to Dylan) is now facing a runoff for the Democratic nomination for her district. Go, Hank (Johnson), go!
McKinney became infamous in 2002 for voicing 9-11 truthiness and then losing her congressional seat to Denise Majette. Unfortunately Majette decided to try to step up to the Senate in 2004, giving the House back its nuttiest member:

Like hey man, I mean, like what's that picture all about. Yesterday over at the "official" loose change blog spot, there was a press release that said the voting machines voted for the opposite candidate. I mean, but now McKinney has more votes - so did she not get more votes or did the other guy not get more votes?

Debunking911, the issue that sank McKinney was the "what did the President know and when did he know it?" bit. That was clearly an intentional echo of Watergate.

Hmmmm, that story is suggestive, Scottsl, but not dispositive. Debunking, you may be changing my mind here. I still don't like McKinney, but it is certainly strongly arguable that her comments fall short of LIHOP and are nowhere near MIHOP. Dylan did claim that she's seen LC though.
Debunking, that is a separate issue--the Senate Intelligence Committee was looking into pre-Iraq War intelligence, not pre-911 intelligence.
Scottsl, I agree, if she's holding "hearings" with evidence from CTers like Ruppert and Nafeez Ahmed, she's either a CTer herself or playing coy.

As for McKinney, I never heard about her (possibly) being a CT nut, but ever since the assault-and-race-card incident, I haven't exactly been a huge fan of hers.
Scott, I can't remember where I read or heard it, but I've seen a similar statement elsewhere. I'm almost positive it was the written word.
