"You cannot prove a lie."

Then why try, Professor Reynolds?

I especially like how anytime he's asked a question and doesn't have any information for his own story.

Nor could he ever explain the amateur footage.

How one can call the "official theory" a lie and myth when it has evidence and one doesn't is beyond me.

"We don't have that kind of knowledge".

Seems to be a reoccuring theme in the 9/11 'Truth' movement...

So this is the leader of one group of "truthers", the "Rajt Pack", and Fetzer, the other, leading the "Scholars". With leaders like these...I think I'm done...lets pack it up and go home.

Notice that several times this whackjob says, "We don't understand..."

No kidding. If he wasn't breathing I would swear he was deceased.

Wait...I watched it again.

I called "Morgan Reynolds" a nut. I apologize.

He is a fucking fruitcake.

I am apologizing to nuts for associating this whacko with them.

I have come up with my own theory. 2 aliens landed on earth the same day "Morgan Reynolds" (perhaps "Moron Reynolds" is better) was "born." This could mean that "Morgan Reynolds" is the product of 2 aliens who left "him" here and went back to their home planet.

Sounds about right.

He makes the key point

Lucky for the reality-based among us, the truth isn't up to a vote.

You might not understand this, but eve if everyone on Earth but the dozen or so regular commenters here believed the government engineered 9/11, it wouldn't change the fact it was an act engineered by al-Qaeda and committed by 19 fanatics.

I think the 36% percent will increase to over 60%.

It'll never get that high. I mean my countrymen are morons (you among them), but they aren't that dumb.

As TAM said, once the Democrats regain control the movement will die. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.

Joan:

Do we have to go over that poll again. Only 16% of the surveyed felt if "very likely" the govt let it happen or made it happen. The other 20% felt it only "somewhat likely". That also leaves 64% who felt they had nothing to do with it.

So lets look at the result this way.

Nearly two-thirds of Americans feel the USG had nothing to do with 9/11, and an additional 20% think it only somewhat likely they had any involvement.

Or, in a recent poll, less than 2 out of 10 people felt it very likely the USG was complicit wrt 9/11.

As for LC-2, If and when it ever comes out, will be such a watered down version of the first (an rightfully so as they have had to correct so many falsehoods) that it will be rendered useless.

And, finally, as Shawn mentioned, the truth movement, by 2009 will be a relic pale in comparison to JFK CTs.

AM, they also encouraged people to think that this was a "just for grins" questionnaire. And if you looked at the specifics of the CT theories they were more like 16%.

dog:

the question is in the poll, and the response is correct, that 36% found it Very likely OR Somewhat likely that the USG helped with the attacks, or let them happen. I read it myself. That I admit to, but the break down (1) is 16% for very likely and (2) it does not break down how many of that 16% would have voted for "let it happen" versus "made it happen"

here is the link to that poll question
