It may be coincidence that O'Donnell's 9/11 denial has manifested itself in such close proximity to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's "Holocaust conference" of last December, but she sounds a lot like many of its participants.
Both profess interest in the pursuit of truth.
Mahammad Ali Ramini, advisor to Ahmadinejad, announced that he would chair a committee to find "the truth on the genocide of Jews."
O'Donnell says that she is merely "trying, as always, for a rigorous truth."
And both profess total objectivity in that pursuit.
Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki made an offer to British Prime Minister Tony Blair to send "independent investigators" to visit former Nazi death camps -- people "who are not sympathetic" to the Nazis nor "to the Zionist regime."
"I have begun doing exactly what this country, at its best, allows for me to do," wrote O'Donnell on her blog. "Inquire. Investigate."

Others have pointed out how the whole Holocaust denial BS is used to obfuscate the discussion of 9/11.
Considering that 9/11 Denier movement wouldn't exist without Holocaust Deniers, I wouldn't say it's a bad idea to compare the two.
Well I think if the truthers would berate and denounce the holocaust denying idiots, we would have less to say about the association between the two movements, but the truthers will be bed budies with anyone who sees it their way, regardless of how repugnent their views on other issues are.

I find it surprising you folks wouldn't try everything in your power to dump the Holocaust deniers from your ranks (which includes NOT using AFP as a source).
So, after posting my first comment asking Pat if this is the best he can do, the rest of you have chimed in with your own BS which shows that this absolute rubbish approach is the best the rest of you can do as well.
It is hardly like this is the only subject we have covered, but sorry, we are not going to stop discussing issues simply because they do not make you comfortable.

I may have said that the IDF was guilty, or that the State of Israel was guilty of an atrocity. However, if by the some extraordinary mistake, I said Jews were guilty, I apologize for any misunderstanding. IDF != All Israelis != Zionists != Jews, where != mean not equal.

They call themselves "Truthers", although nothing could be as far from the truth as the brainwashing nonsense they promote. These people show an almost Orwellian misuse of the language to manipulate the meaning of words in order to make them seem more credible.
