Hot Air Takes On the Deniers

I personally love this video featuring Michelle Malkin, but if you're a Democrat you may not enjoy it as much. I do think that the brush is a little too broad here, but if you hand somebody a bat (as Howard Dean did with his LIHOP-floating comments in 2003), don't be surprised if they turn around and beat you over the head with it.

I'd like to ask Nessie something -

in the new videos it seems that some of the folks involved in 9/11 (al-Qaeda, not America, you moron, calm down) wanted to avenge Muslims in Bosnia. You know, where we went to protect Muslims from being destroyed.

Now if the government wanted to fake and release this tape wouldn't they make a more realistic reason?

Great vid but the comments were a bit off. It really seems like people equate a few liberal moonbats to the whole of the democratic party. I don't equate the obvious corruption of some members of the Republican party to them as a whole. People need to become moderate again and stop spouting left bad, right good or vice versa.

I was involved in a once great political party here in canada (look up "Alberta Social Credit Party" if you're interested) wich was destroyed from within by it's own froot loop contingent. We had our struggles with them and in the end, they blew it all up.

That the democrats will ostensibly not purge themselves of these viscious air-heads is a valid argument as to why they should not be allowed to rule.

Most sensible people, given the choice between a cold corporate operator and a cage full of monkeys throwing feces, will choose the corporate operator every time.

The democrats are in a position to fix this. Wether they choose to do so or not will determine thier worthiness to rule.

I really wonder what will happen if Dems control Congress and then eventually the Presidency. I bet 99.9% of the truthers will shut up because they can't vent their BDS anymore.

were not willing to fight for independence, which is why a lot of them left before it started.

Uh they were being destroyed before we came in. The war wasn't about "power" (I know you're a Marxist-Leninist so your entire view of history has to be put through the whole class/power struggle idea), it was about protecting people.

Uh, no, not quite. The mission was a giant clusterfuck, yeah, but that's entirely due to the nature of UN missions in general. Poor organization, poor communication, no clearly defined goals, impossibly stupid rules of engagement, etc. If it were intended as any sort of power grab, it was a miserable failure - the UN forces were barely able to keep the two sides from fighting, let alone being able to control their actions. How exactly do you exert the will of the EU on a nation when all you've got is a bunch of blue-helmets who half the time can't even shoot in self defence?

The European powers were instrumental in breaking up Yugoslavia, then establishing control after the end of the war.

I'd say the separate Yugoslav provinces were responsible for that. The EU/UN only minimized the number of deaths required before that end-state was achieved. They neither started the process, nor guaranteed it's outcome.

Ironically the UN takes blame from both the pro-EU/Western media and Al Qaeda types for roughly the same reason: The claim that the weapons embargo left the Bosnians defenseless.

Eh? I dunno, never heard them take flack over that, and I certainly wouldn't blame 'em. One of our main goals over there was to disarm as much of the populace as possible. That ensured they were limited in how much they could shoot at each other, and at us. Speaking as a soldier, there's a LOT better things to blame the UN for. Most of them aren't things you'd know about unless you'd either served on a UN mission, or know someone who has. If the UN forces were an army defending a sovereign nation, they'd be overrun in a matter of days by any halfway competent force simply due to the utter incompetence and inefficiency of the UN bureaucracy.
