Troofers in Training
Sometimes I feel bad about making fun of these people, it does seem kind of cruel on occasion, but I can't help it, they keep on saying such silly things. I discovered this video on 911 Blogger, of Mia Hamel at the 9/11 Accountability Conference discussing ways to prepare to sell 9/11 "truth" to the public.
9/11 hit me, about two years ago down in Tampa Florida, I started Googling and it hit me like a bolt of lightning. And it totally shattered me for the longest time. And then I decided, well I am going to do something about it. So I want you to know, like everything I have done has been conscious. I was not an activist, not politically oriented or anything like that. I took a lot of stops that were like conscious, like uhh... I started to prepare myself doing exactly like Carol said, I started, I thought, well if I am going to talk to other people about this, I had better learn it myself, so I sat down, and I did my little flashcards where I put, you know, which flight hit which tower, and 8:46 and 10:03 and what happened and then the Pentagon and Flight 93. And then I started to like, expand my circle and at the same time I started doing things to help me stay centered. I started taking Tai Chi classes, I thought if I am going to do this, I am going to have to train myself, because I am going to put myself in situations that I am not used to being in, and I am going to have to perhaps be in situations that are confrontational. You know, in situations that are uncomfortable. So I had better get myself more centered and I have tried to do that. Actually it has been wonderful, I have lost 35 pounds, I feel great, and I got a whole bunch of new friends.So you too can join the 9/11 Truth diet program! Somehow I have this image of a 9/11 truther movie coming out in a few years with a Rocky-like training montage of middle-aged women doing Tai Chi preparing to combat the New World Order...

I can see how troofers would lose weight by reading conspiracy theories. All of that reading must make their jaws tired, and the energy has to come from somewhere.

If I were a partisan thinking tactical, I would agree, it would be smarter just to let you guys carry on. As someone who approaches this from an interest in exposing mistruth and deception though, it is an interesting topic.
I find it amusing how you all are constantly going on about how your enemies are planting shills and disinformation. We are always the first one to criticize these idiots. We were making fun of Fetzer and Judy Wood way before they became space beam believers. It took you guys forever to catch up. We were the ones who utted Lauro Chavez as a fake. If we were interested in disinformation, we would let these guys become big before attacking them.
As for specific mistakes, they certainly handled Iraq poorly, the policy has been confused on numerous accounts. Bush has entirely ignored a serious immigration policy, and spending is growing at a faster rate than even Clinton. I am rather more financially conservative.
This brings me to another point as to why liberals should be more opposed to these theories. They require Bush to be some type of evil super genius. The current administration could not run a surprise birthday party without it leaking to the WaPo 2 weeks earlier, and then the administration issuing 3 conflicting press releases in response, but you expect them to be able to pull off this ridiculously complicated plot without a hitch, or any type of leak even 6 years later.

As for the rest, there were plenty of hitchs--nothing ever goes as planned--just not enough to derail the op.

Ergo, you are WRONG about us thinking Bush is an evil madman with superpowers. And therefore it is the real powers--Cheney, Bush 41, etc. who bear the responsibility for 911 and the war in Iraq.
