Candle Likely Culprit in Burlingame Blaze

This is only tangentially related to 9-11, but since Wendy Burlingame's death, there has been a lot of speculation among the 25 percenters at 9-11 Blogger as to the cause of the fire that led to her death. It turns out that it was probably nothing more sinister than a candle:

A burning candle knocked under a bed most likely sparked the deadly inferno that killed a 9/11 victim's daughter, New Jersey investigators said yesterday.

Alcohol may have been involved as well:

De Fazio said Burlingame's death was not considered a homicide, but it had not been ruled out, adding: "Alcohol was likely involved." It was unclear which of the couple had been drinking.
