Ron Paul: Too Busy for the Troof

Does Max Keiser Have Crucial 9-11 Evidence?

A friend of mine sent me this video of Max Keiser, a fruitcake who has apparently appeared on many shows as a financial expert.

But get his comments at about 1:00 in:

"Remember, these bankers in New York are deranged. You know I was talking to several brokers working in the Twin Towers about two weeks prior to 9-11. And some of them had actually heard the rumors of planes into the Twin Towers, and that they were still speculating by buying puts on airline stocks. That's the mentality we're dealing with on the global banking stage right now."

That's very interesting information. I would suggest that if the 9-11 Troof Movement wanted to get to the bottom of things, they should contact Mr Keiser who certainly appears to have information that could be very valuable in proving that 9-11 was an inside job. Who were these brokers? Why did Mr Keiser not inform the authorities that he had heard of a plot to crash planes into the Twin Towers two weeks before it happened?

I publish this as a service to the 9-11 "Truth" Movement.

More On the Paranoid Schizophrenic

The guy who acknowledged on the Richard Gage teleconference that he had been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic is Michael Cook. The story rang a bell in my mind and so I went digging for it this afternoon. The best detailed summary of the story is here.

Basically, the guy was a 9-11 Troofer and special education teacher. Like all Troofers, he was convinced he was taking a big risk, and so he got himself a concealed-carry permit. But he felt he had to let his teaching assistant know about the danger they were in:

I had been giving my aide, and sometimes her daughter, a ride home after school and I knew that to discontinue this would be a considerable inconvenience for her. I was very willing to continue giving her a ride, but I felt apprehensive that she was not aware of the circumstance she was in while riding with me so I tried to inform her somewhat and showed her my pistol to emphasize that I was serious about this, that this was reality. She "freaked out" and took this information to my boss, who took it to the police.

So the guy gets taken to the flight deck, which means he no longer qualifies for his weapons permit. But he's eventually released, and might have not gotten into further trouble had he not made a silly mistake:

I made a mistake, a poor choice of words, in an email on 5/18. What I should have said was something like, "Eventually, President Bush will be charged with Treason, be found guilty by a jury of his peers, and be shot by a firing squad." What I did say was, "Eventually, he will be shot for treason." So, the Secret Service came to see me.

Hey, it could happen to anybody. Cook was eventually charged with a weapons violation. Then he made another mistake:

I was less than enthusiastic about this lawyer's performance and fired him, following the advice of a 9/11 Truth aware lawyer I was connected with thanks to Dr. Jim Fetzer, just prior to a pretrial hearing on 10/6/06. This lawyer very promptly contacted me and I allowed him to remain in my service.

Hoo-boy, you can see the fly heading rapidly for the ointment there, right? So his 9-11 Truth lawyer suggested a competency hearing. Cook went back to the rubber rooms, where he was found incompetent to stand trial. So he stayed in involuntary incarceration at the loony bin until September 2007.

But apparently the prosecutor wanted to restore him to competency by getting the shrinks to medicate him with anti-psychotic drugs. A judge refused to issue the order, and eventually Cook was released.

Let me say here that Cooks account sounds reasonable, and he does not write like an insane person. However, qualified medical personnel obviously disagreed.

Soldier Kook Story Bound to Get Some Play

This is a very interesting story:

According to unnamed military sources contacted by The Iconoclast, SFC Buswell "used his Government issued email account to send messages disloyal to the United States …" Because of these statements, SFC Buswell could soon find himself dishonorably discharged, court martialed, or worse.

The content of those emails is discussed later, including this:

I say Occums (sic) razor is the best way to deduce this ‘day of infamy’; if you weigh all options, do some simple studying you will see 911 was clearly not executed by some arabs in caves with cell phones and 3 day old newspapers! I mean how are Arabs benefiting from pulling off 911? They have more war, more death and dismal conditions, so, how did 911 benefit them? Answer: It didn’t. So, who benefited from 9-11? The answer is sad, but simple; The Military Industial [sic] Complex.

It’s not a paranoid conspiracy to think there are conspiracies out there...and, it’s not Liberal Lunacy either, nor is it Conservative Kookiness! People, fellow citizens we’ve been had! We must demand a new independent investigation into 911 and look at all options of that day, and all plausabilities [sic], even the most incredulous theories must be examined.

Lord only knows what he means by "cellphones and 3 day old newspapers". I'll leave the discussion of whether he should be disciplined to those with military experience; certainly I anticipate that he will become something of a cause celebre among the kooks. I can absolutely understand why the military doesn't want him anymore.

Hat Tip: Colossus of Rhodey, who has some interesting thoughts on the matter.

Update: Yeah, the actual article is a year old; the blog post is as of today which is why I picked up on it. Not sure if there's really anything new here.

Update II: Apparently there has been a resolution.

For voicing those opinions in an e-mail to 38 people on the San Antonio Army base, Buswell was stripped of his security clearance, fired from his job, demoted, and ordered to undergo a mental health exam.

(He was also ordered not to speak with the press. Information for this story came from documents, conversations with Buswell’s family members and friends, and sources within Fifth Army who asked not to be named.)

Reports from the Philly Truther/Antiwar Convergence

Are starting to trickle in. It sounds like the typical radical stew:

I was amazed at the seemingly daylong protests in front of Independence Hall from a variety of different activist groups. Props to the Coalition to Free Mumia Abu Jamal, the Black Panthers, Free Tibet, and the 9/11 Truther/Ron Paul supporters who were laying it down.

It also sounds like a snoozefest:

The format could've used some tweaking. I mean, come on, how appealing does a 7 hour lecture sound on July 4? It was nice to hear from the delegates from the different activist groups, but the speeches should've been kept to the first few hours, with the second half actually being devoted toward the strategy session. And where was the ACTION? Sure, we didn't let the lack of an action plan stop us (see next bullet), but really now... it's time to stop bitching and start a revolution!

You know that the generation raised on video games is not going to find seven hours of speeches very entertaining, so they went out:

Essentially, the younger crowd got tired of the hours and hours of lectures (without a formal break!! ahhh!), so we decided to get out and make some waves. I do feel bad for the poor NBC reporter whose live shot we totally ruined. She was hott! But, she is lying corporate news reporter so she had it coming. It was really cool to have members of the major 9/11 youth groups (we are change nyc, philly, student scholars, and albany of course) working together and tearing sh*t up.

Hey, if she's a lying corporate news reporter, it's all right.

This Looks Like a Case for the Hardly Boys

A poster at 9-11 Blogger comes up with a list of suggested avenues for investigation:

As I monitor the flood of information popping up on 911 I frequently find myself wondering about some things that could add more weight to the discussion. These are things that ought to be ascertainable with a bit of legwork. I'm not in a position to do much hard investigation myself so I thought I'd put these thoughts out there in case someone wants to pick them up and put some time into them.

1. It appears that certain tenants of the 2 towers were warned not to come to work on 911. This implies a selection process.

Question: Is there a connection between people who didn't show for work that day?

This strikes me as a potentially profitable line of investigation. And we do in fact know quite a few people who did not show up for work at the World Trade Center, including: Alex Jones, Dylan Avery, Jim Fetzer, Korey Rowe, Jason Bermas and David Ray Griffin. What's that? They didn't work at the World Trade Center? Ah, that's what they want you to believe! Richard Andrew Grove did work at the World Trade Center, but was late to a meeting that day and so he survived.

What do all these people have in common? That's right, they're all "Truthers". What better cover could there be? While publicly proclaiming that they want a new investigation, they do everything possible to discredit anyone who joins the movement with their kooky theories. Alex Jones predicted the attacks; when the BBC "predicted" the collapse of WTC-7, everybody thought it meant that they had been given a script; how come nobody thinks Alex got a script?

Oh, how they must laugh at us when we point out that so vast a conspiracy would inevitably have leaks! I'm sure they're just dying to say, "You think a couple thousand people couldn't pull something like this off and keep it quiet? Well, we did!"

9-11 was a Truther Job!

One Last Shot of 9-11 Denial on the View

Ro leads with Willie Rodriguez and the poor man with his skin falling off, as usual assuming this means explosives. But of course the man was burned by the fireball that traveled down the elevator shaft--even Willie used to admit that. She goes on to raving about WTC 7 being omitted from the 9-11 Commission Report, like the 9-11 Commission was concerned about a building in which nobody died, which was not a direct target of the attacks. The 9-11 Commission report also did not mention St. Nick's Cathedral, which was also destroyed. Oooooh, mysterious.

And anyway, the notion that the 9-11 Commission Report (PDF file) does not mention WTC 7 is wrong.

Page 301:

The OEM's headquarters was located at 7 WTC. Some questioned locating it both so close to a previous terrorist target and on the 23rd floor of a building (difficult to access should elevators become inoperable).

Page 310:

By 8:48, officials in OEM headquarters on the 23rd floor of 7 WTC....

Page 319:

"At about 9:57 an EMS paramedic approached the FDNY Chief of Department and advised that an engineer in front of 7 WTC had just remarked that the Twin Towers in fact were in imminent danger of total collapse."

Page 322:

"After the South Tower was hit, OEM senior leadership decided to remain in its "bunker" and continue conducting operations even though all civilians had been evacuated from 7 WTC. At approximately 9:30 a senior OEM official ordered the evacuation of the facility after a Secret Service agent in 7 WTC advised him that additional commercial planes were not accounted for."

Update: Yet moron Ro! Ro and her makeup gal exchange video blog thoughts about the nuclear exchange between Ro and Lis last night; the makeup gal (Helene) seems to be half in the bag. Janet is banished from the v-blog for her mustache-drawing escapade. Apparently Ro will appear on Monday for one more episode of the View, a pretaped one for Elisabeth's birthday. If you can't see the vblog over at News Buckit (I couldn't) you can also check it at Ro's blog.

BBC Producer: There Was No Sympathetic Piece on the Deniers

In the week or so before the BBC aired their wonderful show on the 9-11 conspiracy theorists, Alex Jones tried to convince people that the Beeb had prepared two versions of the show; one sympathetic and balanced, and the other a "hit piece". Of course, according to Jones, the NWO insisted that the "hit piece" be aired.

According to the producer, there was no sympathetic piece and the one that aired was balanced.

Only trouble is there weren’t two versions, no-one bothered to check with us and, what's more, we worked very hard to make sure the programme was fair and balanced.

We didn’t find anything conclusive proving the conspiracy theories. Instead we found a lot of evidence which supported the official version and contradicted the various conspiracy theories.

Where there was some evidence of a conspiracy after the event to cover-up intelligence failures, we included that in the programme, together with an interview with Senator Bob Graham, who co-chaired a Congressional Inquiry into 9/11.

Hat Tip to an emailer who will remain anonymous for now.

Here's A Hopeless Task

A Buzzflash contributor asks the 9-11 Truthers to join the "legions of the left".

Can we persuade conspiracy buffs to drop their 9/11 speculations and join forces with the legions of the left? It would certainly be advantageous to have them by our side as we struggle to defeat our common foes on the right.

This is something that I have to admit I did not understand adequately when I started blogging on 9-11. The notion that all or even most Deniers are leftists is wrong. Some are certainly of the left, and certainly they bitterly gripe about the "Lefty Gatekeepers" enough to make it clear that they think that their natural allies are on the left.

But a very large number of "Truthers" don't fit comfortably on the right/left line, which is one reason why there are virtually no Democrats or Republicans who support the 9-11 Denial Movement. Alex Jones is so far right I'd almost call him a survivalist. Dylan Avery certainly appears to be a little lefty, but Jason Bermas, his colleague, is well to the opposite side of the spectrum. These nuances can be tough to pick up in all the Bush-bashing that the Deniers engage in, but certainly if you listen to Bermas and Avery talk about Global Warming, for example, it's not hard to figure out that their political orientations are quite different.

And this is just plain laughable:

These conspiracy theorists are usually very bright, but they have an emotional weak spot. They reacted to the events of 9/11 with a sense of helplessness and powerlessness, which generated anxiety and fear in them. Their emotional priority was to scramble for safety, which they found in the world of fantasy. In self-deception, they developed a conspiracy fiction that they soon transformed into non-fiction and proclaimed to be absolute certainty. Religious fundamentalists, too, use rigid beliefs to develop certainty about the nature of the world. In both cases, the certainty doesn't have to be rational; all that matters is that the belief has a stabilizing, calming, or grounding effect, like that of nicotine or alcohol.

I think the idea that the CTers are usually "very" bright is laughable. I mean, they follow Alex Jones, who pronounces the word "naked" as "nekkid"! Jones is an old-fashioned populist in the Huey Long tradition. There are some intelligent Deniers, but polls have consistently shown that Truthiness goes down as education level goes up. If you compare the level of discourse at, say, the Looser Forum to the JREF forum, it's not hard to see the difference. Count the spelling errors, not even counting the ur for you're (or your), and you'll be appalled at any notion that CTers are bright.

Well-Written Nonsense...

Is still nonsense. Kurt Nimmo takes on George Monbiot:

Not unlike his brethren, most notably Noam Chomsky and Alex Cockburn, Monbiot buys the Ward Churchill version of events in regard to the attacks of September 11, 2001—that is to say Osama and a small number of cave-dwelling Wahhabi fanatics magically made NORAD stand down and defied the immutable laws of physics, thus delivering one to the conclusion a piece of paper cannot be slipped between Monbiot and the moonstruck followers of the neocons, as they all buy the same Brothers Grimm fairy tale.

I would venture to say that you cannot slip a piece of paper between Monbiot and the neocons on the law of gravity, on the fact that the earth rotates around the sun, on the fact that the sky is blue. I note the usual "cave-dwelling" comment about Al Qaeda; they were not living in a cave prior to 9-11.

He doesn't really have an argument with the substance of what Monbiot writes, so he concentrates on arguments that Monbiot is serving his corporate masters. It's the usual refrain from those whose ideas are so crazy that they can't even get the far Left to endorse them.

Nimmo writes well, but in service to a lousy cause. I note that he has more than the usual share of nutbar websites on his blogroll, including Ziopedia, World Socialist Website, What Really Happened, Wayne Madsen, American Free Press and Prison Planet. Looks like he's yet another Lefty Jew-basher.

BBC 9-11 CT Show

Reports are starting to come in on the BBC's new show, 9/11: The Conspiracy Files. The Deniers have been waging pre-emptive warfare against the show by claiming it was a hit piece. Our fellow debunkers at 9-11 Cultwatch, which now has a blog seems to like the debunking section:

Several of the key issues to 9/11 "Truth activists" were debated - the attack on the Pentagon, the collapse of WTC 7 and the fate of the fourth plane, Flight 93. Anyone who has tried to debunk some of the dafter 9/11 theories will have some sympathy for the Indiana academic who expressed his shock at the abuse received when he published his findings into the Pentagon attack. We know how he feels! The dangers of web based research were suggested by the anomalies concerning Flight 93 wreckage - many "researchers" had calculated the mileage from crash site to debris by road mileage, using the Internet, not how the crowd flies. Some people really do need to get out more beyond their computer screens.

But they were not pleased with other parts:

Due to the safe old image of the BBC, the need to reach a nice fluffy middle of the road conclusion was hardly a surprise. Yes there was a conspiracy, but it was of the arse-covering, don't question Capitol Hill variety. Perhaps so - but also being the BBC no hard questions were raised about some of the biggest 9/11 issues. Not what did the Americans knew before hand - what did Saudi Arabia know? What did Pakistan know?

Such questions are not on the BBC's radar. Here they cannot claim ignorance - Senator Bob Graham from the Congressional Inquiry into 9/11 was interviewed. Graham has expressed his considerable frustrations at the lack of a desire in Washington to look into the behaviour of Saudi Arabia, but you would never have got that impression from this documentary.

Such questions are on our radar, as they should be for any serious researchers. For the BBC, taking on the likes of Alex Jones using taxpayers money is one thing. Messing with the Saudi's is clearly quite another.....

I am hoping the show will pop up on YouTube or Google and will post it here if I find it.

History Began at 8:46 AM on a Tuesday Morning

At least, that's the impression you'd get from watching this (short) video.

The video claims that the "myths" of 9-11 (that the buildings collapsed because of the fires and that Osama Bin Laden was behind it) were planted in the public's mind by the media carefully and deliberately. Hilariously, the guy acts as if Osama was completely unknown in America prior to 9-11. In fact, he was already wanted for the bombings of US embassies in Africa in 1998, when a two-page feature appeared on him in Time. Indeed, that wanted poster that the Deniers love to point out does not contain mention of 9-11, does mention the embassy bombings:

USAMA BIN LADEN IS WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE AUGUST 7, 1998, BOMBINGS OF THE UNITED STATES EMBASSIES IN DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA, AND NAIROBI, KENYA. THESE ATTACKS KILLED OVER 200 PEOPLE. IN ADDITION, BIN LADEN IS A SUSPECT IN OTHER TERRORIST ATTACKS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

As for the fires (combined with the damage from the impact of the planes) bringing down the buildings, the filmmaker apparently thinks that had this one rescue worker not mentioned it, perhaps 9-11 Troof would have caught on with the public sooner. But even David Ray Griffin would probably have speculated that cause on 9-11; by his own account he didn't even suspect the "New Pearl Harbor" until a year afterwards.

Rosie Goes Truther?

In fairness, they seem to be discussing what a hunk John Conner is, but Rosie does ape his "9-11 Was An Inside Job" megaphoning.

BG points out that the gal who first brings up The Resistance Manifesto is Christine Ebersole. Note that Rosie immediately knows Conner's name. Now, we can believe that's because Rosie's trolling the net for videos with hunky guys, or because she's a Truther.

BTW, since the Resistance Manifesto gets promoted, let's take a look at some of the things you'll learn there:

George Bush worships Satan.

Rosie's dear buddy, Tom Cruise, also worships Lucifer.

Robots are going to take over the world.

Some of This Might Be True....

But some of it is definitely false. Dylan posts this over at his blog:

I don't know what to say, I'm not sure where I stand, and I don't know what to think anymore... not about 9/11, but society in general.

I was a NJ EMT for 6 years. I was in NY at the WTC before, during, and after the collapse. I ran from the falling towers. I hid behind a plexi-glass bus stop panel, as if that would have helped me if anything large came hurtling in that direction. My lungs are full of dust and I can barely breathe without holding back a cough and the ever-present faint taste of blood in the back of my throat. I wake up gasping for air. Those towers fell, and I was there. I don't know why the "official story" of what happened isn't questioned more than it is. Nobody listens to the people who KNOW. The 9/11 commission was made up of puppeteers, and the tesimony was given by the puppets. It's so obvious. It was a failure. If the things I, and hundreds of other people saw, felt, and heard didn't make it into that attrocious failure called the 9/11 Commission Report, then there is no other con clusion than accepting the fact that the whole thing was a whitewash.

Mark... listen to me. There were explosions. There were flashes. There was molten metal running down the I-beams of the basement levels like lava flows. I've never seen anything like it. Yes, planes hit the buildings- anybody who says otherwise is a moron. But the explosions- the rapid, symmetrical, sequential explosions- they happened. We were in the basement, helping a man who had been struck by pieces of flying concrete and rebar, and there was one of the huge steel and concrete support pillars with an 8 foot section blown out of the center of it. We looked around and there were other support columns that were the same. We spoke about it right then and there... we were discussing as we were carrying this man, saying "how could someone have rigged all these explosives?". That sort of thing does not happen from an airplane hitting the building 70, 80 stories up. We stood outside listening to the explosions. One after the other, every minute or so. At one point, about 10 minutes before the first collapse, a 30 foot or so section of the courtyard exlploded straight up into the air. Just before the collapses, a series of deep, below ground explosions, then numerous explosions in the buildings upper floors. Then we ran. We felt the same deep explosions before the second collapse. This was not just the planes. THE BUILDINGS WERE RIGGED. There is no question about it. Hundreds of people know this, Mark. People were told, the crowds of people were TOLD over bullhorns, that building 7 was going to be pulled (and YES that is the term they used). There was a 20 second countdown over the radios, there were bright flashes up and down the sides of building 7, you could see them through the windows...and it collapsed. We all knew it was intentionally pulled... they told us! There was no question about it until a day or so later when the news was reporting that it had collapsed due to fire. We kept wondering when they were going to correct the news reports. Eventually, it became "official story".

I tried to explain that wasn't what happened. I kept telling people there were explosions. I kept explaining what I saw, and wrote to the newspapers, the networks, and the government about what I saw. I called to speak to the FDNY, and NYPD. I told them what I knew and wanted know why the news reports were wrong. I wasn't told I was wrong. I wasn't even given a different explaination. I was just told to "shut up", "forget about it", or "let it go, for my own good". I told my EMT Coordinator In Charge what we saw. The four of us from my squad who went were first congratulated for responding and doing such a good job, and later, two of us (the two that refused to "let it go") were brought up on charges of disorderly conduct, fired, and fined for the uniforms and equipment we used on 9/11 because they were ruined. The other two (who are women, one a mother of two, the other a mother of 3) now refuse to admit they were even there, even to us! They just won't speak about it. The four of us were heroes. Two of us were harrassed and fired, and the other two have to deny ever being there.

There is no doubt in my mind what happened in New York on 9/11. Yes, some of the conspiracy theories are far fetched. A few are even rediculous. But MOST of them, hold much more validity than the "official story". The government has one theory, and it is very weak, at best. Loose Change may be questionable, but that's what it is doing... providing theories and asking questions. Some of those questions get answered, others come up. THAT is why there is a 2nd Edition and a future final cut. Yes, the truth must be updated, of course it does. To say it doesn't is silly. What do you think an investigation is? You formulate a theory, ask questions, and get answers. When you come across new information or rule out false information, you update your theory. Why do you ridicule that concept? Why do you take so much pride in claiming "I didn't know the truth needed a 2nd Edition"? That's like your main motto and it's the weakest thing I've ever heard. Would it make more sense to you to write a story, or make a documentary, and NOT update it if you found new information? Would you want today's school children learning out of a 1977 1st Edition History textbook? Would you criticize an updated edition for them to learn out of? What about following editions? Of course not. My point is this: Loose Change may not be 100% accurate or complete, but it offers more plausible explanations, no matter how diabolical, than the 9/11 commission report fiasco.

In case you are wondering, no. I'm not going to give you my full name or what city I worked for. I had enough trouble having it dragged through local newspapers for two years. I don't want to lose another job. I don't want you unfoundedly slandering my name all over the net like you do with Dylan, Jason, and whoever else offers a point of view other than yours. I'm not giving you my name, so do as you wish with what I've told you. Just remember something. It's very easy to deny something, and even easier to "debunk" it with a simpler story, and simpler still to present that information to millions of people who not only have heard it as truth before, but WANT to believe it. It is much harder to piece together a series of events that makes much more sense, provides a motive, a means, and more capable suspects, and harder yet to present that information to millions of people who not only DON'T want it to be true, but have already heard a much happier story that they would rather believe.
Trust me, I'd much rather believe the official story. I'd also rather believe that Columbus discovered America and DIDN'T torture and murder the natives he encountered on the way here. But history had a 2nd Edition to that story. I can't wait for the Final Cut.

The part that is clearly BS? This is pretty apparent:

THE BUILDINGS WERE RIGGED. There is no question about it. Hundreds of people know this, Mark. People were told, the crowds of people were TOLD over bullhorns, that building 7 was going to be pulled (and YES that is the term they used). There was a 20 second countdown over the radios, there were bright flashes up and down the sides of building 7, you could see them through the windows...and it collapsed.

He could be telling the truth about being an EMT who was at the WTC that day, could be telling the truth (as he believes it to be) about the CT. But I am sorry, the idea that there was a 20-second countdown?

That's "rediculous".

Dylan appends an update:

Dylan-

I don't mind if you put the Mike, 30, NJ... I think it's anonymous enough. Whatever you like, you are welcome to post the letter on your site. The SLC d**chebag will probably post it anyway and rip me up. Whatever. I don't know if I can make NYC, and as far as telling my story in the final cut, I'd really love to, but my life is pretty much in shambles just from pushing the issue back then. I honestly can't afford any more repercussions. I realize that's a cop-out, and I'm almost ashamed that I can't just say to hell with it, but I'm almost broke as it is and living close to poverty level. Anyway, enough of my crybaby bullsh*t. It would be an honor to be in the final cut, but I just can't risk it. I apologize. All the best to you guys, though, and if there's anything I can do to help distribute copies of Loose Change, I'd be more than willing if you wanted to send me a bunch, it's up to you, let me know. Excelle nt work, gentlemen, and thank you.
-Mike

+=+=+

Thanks alot, Mike. It means the world to us. We'll try and work something out for yourself and people like you as soon as humanly possible.

SLC...Are you ready to apologize to this man?

Why should we (or Mark Iradian) apologize? Dylan receives an anonymous email from somebody he's never met who claims to have the Holy Grail of evidence that 9-11 was an inside job, but, so sorry, he can't come forward now because everybody already thinks he's a kook. That about summarizes it. It's a slightly more convincing, but anonymous Samuel Danner.

Meditators for 9-11 Truth?

I'm sorry but I can't resist a little grin at this description of a Denier group appearing at a Tom Kean speech:

Before Gov. Kean’s talk a group of about 20 meditated in the corridor, sending Light to all in the auditorium including Gov. Kean. When we finished, to my amazement, Gov. Kean actually walked into the center of our circle. He was charming and friendly, many of us in the 9/11 movement shook his hand and asked questions. Much to his credit he made himself accessible. In a way it was very satisfying to speak the truth to him (although his responses were evasive). Many in our circle had a chance to interact as he spent about ten minutes amongst us.

Om mani inside job!

On Gatekeepers

I mentioned this in the comments section of the Nico Haupt News post a few below this one, but thought it was interesting enough to pull out to the front page.

One of the constant gripes of the 9-11 Deniers concerns "Lefty Gatekeepers". The theory here is that by barring the gates, famed Leftists like Noam Chomsky, George Monbiot and others, along with Leftist Magazines like The Nation, Counterpunch, etc., are preventing 9-11 Troof from reaching a larger audience. That these people and magazines are barring the gate is undeniable; the reasons are debatable. The nutbars believe that Alexander Cockburn and the Nation are in the pay of the CIA. Sensible people will say that the reason they are barring the gate is because they know that if they embrace 9-11 crackpottery, the mainstream media and conservatives will use any association with the "Truthers" to discredit their movement.

That this is so should pretty evident, because the "mainstream" 9-11 Denial Movement practices gatekeeping themselves. They bar the "no-planers" and the "Star Wars Beam Weapons" from their midst just as fiercely as the Lefty Gatekeepers bar them. And why? Because they know that the mainstream media and conservatives will use any association with the "no-planers" to discredit their movement.

Ironic, no?
